Works But With Build Issue
I received the XO branded suction phone holder for review and found that while the suction and MagSafe portion of the holder work as advertised the 360 rotation is poorly constructed. I subsequently sent it back for a replacement unit and the second one has the same issue, lending itself to a design/construction problem. In the attached video you can see that the ball assembly is too tight making phone adjustments difficult and ultimately pull on the suction unit forcing it to engage to keep the unit attached to a smooth surface. If you are going to want to reposition the phone while mounted on the holder, you best use both hands, one to hold it attached to the surface and the other to move your phone. I cannot recommend this with suction holder for construction and value issues.

A quick, simple solution to mount a phone
The Magnetic Car Phone Holder Mount is a quick, simple solution to mounting a phone in a car, on a refrigerator, or most other flat, clean surfaces. Once attached, removing the mount is as easy as pressing a button.Weighing approximately 4 ounces, the mount is portable and well-constructed. On one end, the magnet attaches well to Magsafe phones or magnetic surfaces. The other end has a pliable suction cup that adheres to flat, clean surfaces.I attached the suction cup side to the glass display in my vehicle, and an iPhone 15 with a Magsafe case to the magnet. I adjusted the mount angle toward the passenger side, then readjusted it toward the driverâs side easily. After pressing the release button on the side of the mount, it detached from the display panel within a second or two.For a second test I attached the mountâs magnet to a refrigerator then placed an old iPad on the suction cup. The setup was fast and flawless. Be aware that the mount makes a sound as itâs working to apply suction. If the surface is not flat or suitable for the suction cup, it will continue to try to attach making the same sound with each attachment attempt.I did not leave the devices in place for an extended period in either of the tests, so I cannot speak about its serviceability over time. In each test it did appear that the mount secured the devices to the surfaces extremely well.Summary:Ensuring the mount has a sufficient charge will achieve the safest and best application. Should the mount not have a sufficient charge, it will lose the suction effect, and it could be problematic for any device attached to it.I like the ability to quickly apply and release this mount in a vehicle or on any other suitable surface. If you donât want to leave it in place, releasing and repositioning it is effortless, just ensure the suction cup and surface area are clean to start and the mount has a good charge.Overall, I like this phone mount for a vehicle because it is fast, simple and easy to use. It is a smart choice for a suction/magnetic phone mount when effortless usability is important.

Awesome vacuum suction phone mount with MagSafe!
This vacuum suction MagSafe phone mount has quickly become a must-have in my life! I hadn’t seen anything about these until I stumbled upon one here on Amazon, and I’m so glad I did. No longer do I need separate ways to mount my phone in different places. This thing is incredibly versatile, travel-friendly, and just plain AWESOME. It works beautifully! As soon as it touches the surface you want to mount it on, the motor kicks on and vacuums the air out, creating awesome suction power for holding your phone. I’ve done quite a few pull tests on different (flat, non-textured) surfaces, and there’s no way I can detach it once it’s suctioned to a flat surface. If your phone uses MagSafe, you’re all set! If not, it comes with a metal ring you can attach to your phone or stick inside your phone case. Conversely, you could use the MagSafe side to mount the phone holder on a magnetic surface (like a fridge, treadmill, etc), and then use the vacuum suction side on your phone. I’ve attached a video of how it sticks to a tile shower, and photos of it mounted on a mirror and a normal painted wall.I have another one of these so I can keep one for home use and one for travel, but the other one doesn’t have the 360º adjustability. Being able to tilt my phone while using this phone mount is an extra perk I didn’t even realize I needed! I highly recommend this vacuum suction magnetic phone mount to anyone who’s looking for an all-in-one product that allows you to stick your phone to a myriad of surfaces.
