Quality Product
This came out exactly as ordered. Sturdy, well made and quality case. My son now can practice when my daughter is sleeping and he enjoys bringing it along with him places. While heavy he doesnât mind putting in his backpack and his grandma and grandpa donât mind him playing at their house. Overall very enjoyable. 10/10 recommend.

Practice makes perfect
Bought this as a Christmas gift for our son. He is constantly practicing on this pad and very compact to carry

Decent sound muffling and feedback.
For full disclaimer, I am not a drummer. I am a guitarist first, but while playing with one of my bands, I had the chance to toy around with my friend’s drums and his drum practice pad. He’s a serious drummer, so he had a really nice practice pad that was light weight and had great rebound despite being fairly thin. Now, I am trying to tighten up my own rhythms to better work on a looper and midi interface. My friend’s set was one of the more expensive practice pads that simulate the surface of an actual snare that run closer to double this price, so of course the rebound was a little nicer. This pad is similar to other pads built the same way that I have seen at retail music stores in the same price range; of course, being a rubber material on a wood board, the rebound is not quite as nice as my friend’s practice set, but I was still pleased.I can get a relatively good rebound and build up a rhythm without effort. And due to the build, it does a good job at muffling the strikes. I asked my daughter in the next room, and while she could hear me using it, it was not at all bothersome; she has commented that my guitar amp (set at volume 2 out of 11) is sometimes a bit much, for reference. For comparison, my friend’s practice pad did very little to muffle noise and was just to keep him warm. The pad is somewhat heavy, with a thick wood center layer. The pad on the underside is just some sort of foam, I assume to keep the pad from skidding. I did not have any issue with it sliding around. It also feels very durable overall because of the way it is a sandwich of three relatively heavy layers. The sticks that came with it are OK, but definitely not my preference in size or weight. Overall, getting the sticks free and the carrying case push this into a better deal zone than the similar pads that I saw at retail music stores. I recommend it.

Used to record practice sessions with no issues. Come with pads and sticks. Would recommend.

Great for the beginners
Inexpensive enough to get for someone to get started. If it doesn’t take (the drummer in all of us) then no big loss. The pad is built well and is similar to the Evans Real Feel practice pad.The sticks are ok to get ’em started.I bought it for a gift to my nieces 9 year old son. I’m happy to say he took right to it.

Good practice pad
The black and natural wood pad looks really nice, and has a rubber mat on the bottom to absorb impact and noise. It also keeps it from slipping if you’re using it on a slick surface. There is no mounting thread for use on a cymbal stand, so if you don’t want to use it on a table you’ll need to buy a cheap snare stand, but I found the right height table to work just fine. The pad comes with a surprisingly nice carrying case that seems durable, with handles but no shoulder strap. It also comes with a pair of size 5A sticks with tapered beads. They are the lightest 5As I’ve ever used, almost too light. You’ll probably want to use a name brand pair instead. Most importantly, the pad has a natural feeling rebound which makes it good for beginners or pros and it lets you hear your dynamics while still being quiet enough to not bother the neighbors when you’re playing loudly.. The rebound is more natural than the old GUM pads that have been around for decades, but not as good as a Remo tunable pad. On the plus side it’s much quieter than the Remo pads. One more thought – if you’re a novice you might want to consider a smaller diameter pad that will teach you to play with both sticks close together in the same area of the head, but I do recommend this pad for quiet practice. Happy drumming!

Great product for drum practice!
I ordered this drum pad for my son who is in a high school marching band. He plays a number of percussion instruments and is an intermediate-skill player. He is very happy with this pad and says it’s great for practicing. It’s helping him develop his skills for playing the snare drum and quad drums. There is an 8″ pad on one side and a 12″ pad on the other side for practicing. The pads are silent and do not make a lot of noise. The pad also is anti-slip and grips the surface you put it on. Great for playing. The pad comes with drumsticks and a storage bag for easy carry.I would absolutely recommend this drum pad. The product seems to be very good quality. Great for drummers to practice and easier on everyone else’s ears.

The practice pad is OK as far as the drumming surface goes but the build quality and quality control are horrible. The sticks are bent and the surface of the pad is not glued to the chip board properly, also the non slip surface on the bottom is not glued very well either. Based on the other reviews it’s possible that I got a dud but I’m not sure about that. I bought this because as a beginner I wanted to make sure I would stick with drumming before investing any amount of money into it and I thought since the pads I saw basically looked the same and the prices where similar any one of them should do the trick but I think I’ll spend a bit more money and get a brand name practice pad. Likely will return this one which it a shame because it would be fine if they put a bit more effort into making sure the gluing was done properly.
