A hidden gem
I will start with looks because everyone looking at this specifically is probably drawn to how it looks. It looks fantastic in person. It is a nice heavy clear plastic that is beautifully lit with a faux neon lighting tube. The insides are also assembled and designed to look pleasing with its black clean pcb.The sticks feel good to use, stiff but not to stiff. The D pad feels very tactile and usable to me personally. The face buttons I would call good enough or better than average for 3rd party. The shoulders feel just ok well the triggers do not have much travel and could be stiffer but at the same time this is modeled as a switch pro controller so cant knock it for that.Connections are pretty straight forward, for pc you use wired, I tried connecting wirelessly but it doesnt like it on pc and to be fair the manual and the box only say wired for pc! But once plugged into pc it sees it as an xbox 360 controller (thats great), same with steam and swaps the face button layout automatically but can be toggled in steam settings if you want nintendo layout. There is also the option to switch from X-input to D-input (game controller X, like a mouse D) on pc by holding the home button down for 5 seconds till everything blinks off then on. On android it pairs quickly and easily using home + A on the controller. Its picked up and works right away. In my testing I used retroarch and it also auto detected the buttons but you will still want to customize that in the settings per core like usual.Overall I am super pleased with this, I was not expecting this level of quality or polish. I have a very large and diverse controller collection but I feel like this may be my new daily driver controller. My only gripe is pc needing to be wired but honestly I am so happy with everything else I can let that go.

Pretty awesome controller — Works very well on PC (wired)
This is a pretty awesome controller. I use it for PC, which only works when wired with a USB-C connection, so I can’t comment on the wireless connectivity for Switch, but I assume it works fine. It comes with the USB-C cable, which is about 1 meter long. I love the transparent look of the controller and the LED strip. I just looks awesome!I tested all the functions (that I could — not everything works when wired for PC), including the turbo functions, and everything I tested was perfect. I’ve been using the default X-input, but you can configure it for D-input for older games if you need to. It’s fast and responsive when playing platformers, and I have basically zero complaints. Some functions, like wireless connection, or vibration, only work with a Switch, but I don’t mind that.Note that it does have the X-box style configuration (left side D-pad is below the left analog stick) instead of the Playstation style configuration (left side D-pad above the left analog stick), and the buttons are labeled for the switch, so they don’t match the X-box labels. The instructions are also printed in a super small font, so I needed a magnifying glass to read them to figure out the turbo function and LED control. Still, this is an awesome controller. 5 stars!
