Just What I Needed and Wanted
I needed a product that would hold my tablets and clipboard neatly, and at hand, on my desk. Everything I tried just didn’t work until I ordered this “Vdamu Vertical File Organizer for Desk.” It’s very sturdily made with metal mesh separating each device and with a riser in the two back pockets so that the items therein stand just above the one in front so that taking the one I want is easy to accomplish.The organizer stands on my desktop but it can also be hung on the wall or on the desk – the parts needed for both other options are included in the package. What’s more is that these extra parts are not some cheap items which you might easily be afraid to use. Instead, they are also made of high quality steel and even includes two vise clips and a screw driver. Those are the type of extras that lets you know you are dealing with quality products.I did have one issue with the product as shipped, however. Had I wanted to hang the file on the wall or desk I’d have had to figure out exactly how to do it. Although the parts to do so were there, and were good quality, there were no instructions on how to use the parts to accomplish hanging the files. After looking at the parts for a while I was able to figure it out but that’s not really how that task should be left to a purchaser.Considering everything together, and deducting a half star because of the lack of hanging instructions, I think that the “Vdamu Vertical File Organizer for Desk” is a soft 5 star product which you can buy knowing that what you get will be a quality product. Good functionality, but not a great value
This is a pretty standard wire mesh organizer with three full-sized slots. There are two holes for wall mounting (with some hardware included, although I’d encourage using your own preferred anchors) or an alternative clamp for mounting to a desk, countertop, etc.There isn’t much to say about this device. It holds papers, letter size or even a bit larger. I have two major concerns though. First, it’s flimsy. Most products of this type will be, so I’m not surprised. But hanging off a desk, if I put heavy items in it, it will flex quite a bit, since it’s basically just hanging there, subject to the weight of whatever’s in it. Any accidental bump with a knee or foot, and it wobbles or even bends. I’d really love more sturdy items.And the second issue is value — particularly considering my concerns that it is flimsy. It’s not poorly made, but it should be offering some value, either by being sturdier or being a lower price. At the price currently (30), this is not a good value.
