Label & refill fyi
Some of the preset lables I can select in the app default with an error message that my design or tape is not compatible and it wont print. The lables are not strong thermal at all so the wording will wash off and if it is exposed to the sun it too will fade. Value for money use for indoor cool temp labels like indoor storage, it does not perform well in heat so donât expect it to last in a hot garage or storage shed type project. The ease of use is ok for the labels that fit, they are easy to peel and stick easily. The adhesive is strong on the sticker, but if you dish machine wash it for food labels they will wear off, the alignment is good, no fuss with it like my old Brother PT tape. I am going to wait for another back to school sale to invest in another Brother PT touch brother that connects to my phone and it had lasted for 10 years. The quality heat thermal from my Brother PT tape would never wear off and I need something that is high quality and that can withstand any weathering. I give this a 3 star because I cant rely on longevity and its limited presets. I only use it for basic uses and create a custom labels that I know I will have to keep reprinting because they wear off. They are not UV thermal tape.Updating my review to add one star after multiple uses and being able to modify the text size on the error messages for preset template labels ( I shrink them down) that are still legible and the symbol or sticker is still easy to understant and save templates has helped with office and back to school labeling all supplies. I am trying out different refills that are white and clear to hope to find something UV and dishwasher resistant like my last Brother PT touch tapes as the labels do wash off the text printed on them. Easy to use
Setting up and using was easy and quick. I had to set up the pre-supplied labels that came inside the unit, but after that, it worked like a charm. Labels come out fast, charging was a breeze (no wall unit) and the charge seems to last forever. No ink is needed and the output is fairly crisp when compared to the easy to use app. It can fit in a pocket I’d you want to carry it around, or leave it on your desk.
