I just received the pens yesterday. Opened them right away to try them out. They all appear to have plenty of ink and they all write smoothly. Hopefully they stay that way. So many of the pens I buy work great when I get them then suddenly freeze up.Yes, the little silicone ball on each tip is annoying, but can be removed fairly easily. I’m sure there’s a reason for it – maybe to prevent leaks during shipping?

For the price, these are a nice set. You get a lot of pens and beautiful color choices. The pens are comfortable to write with, have good colored ink, and write smoothly. I only used on lined paper and did not have any smearing issues.

Fantastic Pens!!
I love these gel pens! I was devoted to the Pilot G2 pens for years, but I think these are better! The colors are vibrant, the ink is stable and these write very smoothly. I journal the bible so I use them daily. Again, FANTASTIC PENS! !

Inconsistent quality
Was excited to get my gel pens for my new 2024 journal. Colors looked nice in the picture. Colors of the pens themselves also looked attractive when I got them. But writing with them was very inconsistent. Some colors wrote legibly and the same throughout the whole paragraph. Some colors were faint, and quality went in and out when writing a whole paragraph. I would show a picture here of the inconsistent writing color, but the content is not suitable to show in public. A bit disappointed. I thought these would be great replacements for my BIC gel pens which were running out of ink. But not really. Too bad.UPDATE: 1-10-24I am trying to give the SMART Gel pens I purchased a chance. So I wrote with it this morning. See the inconsistent writing display of the SMART Gel v. the older BIC Gel pens I have. They are supposedly the same color. Big difference. I even tried shaking the SMART Gel ones. Still not satisfactory. I may process return. Sometimes cheaper isn’t always better. Lesson learned.

These are decent/average quality and cost less than any similar-size set Iâve seen in physical stores. Good variety of colours, best to buy these & a set of black pens if youâre wanting colour-coded notes for a class or something along those lines and theyâll last you a long time. Smooth, not the best pigmentation but nothing to scoff at.
