Excellent!
I saw this advertised online and was so intrigued. I debated buying this but after doing my research, I am very happy with this purchase. It’s a bit expensive for a speaker, but you will not be sorry.Not only is it beautiful to look at and is exquisitely made, it sounds like a dream. I bought it to use in my office at work rather than stream music through the computer speakers.My only complaint…the USB-C cable that came with it sucks. After carefully unpacking it from the box, I plugged it in and nothing. My heart sank thinking I was sold a defective unit. It then occurred to me to use another USB-C cable (I used the one from my MacBook Pro) and voila! It turned on. I ordered more USB-C cables from Apple to replenish my supply.That was the hardest part. Set up is very easy via the B&O app and it is very easy to use.I stream via AirPlay and Bluetooth using Apple Music and it sounds and works great. No issues.Highly recommend.

Space saving music marvel that i bought twice
I highly recommend these beosoundEmerge for people with small spaces or if you would like a simple audio setup for yourself. ItSounds good for its size. It has 3 drivers, 120Watts total. Comes with a usb charge cable and a charging brick. It has ethernet and a toslink/3.5 aux combination jack if you prefer a wired connection. I got a second one to become stereo or i use them separately for my mac and pc. Comes in 2 finishes. Black and wood. I got the black because its cheaper and the grill is not fabric. You must use the b&o app to set it up and receive updates.

Waste of Money
If you plan to buy it buy something else, particularly if you plan to buy a pair:- does not sync with TV- constantly disconnect from WiFi (in less than one year I reset it at least 100 times)- Stereo pairing constantly fails to set up and when itâs set up magically disconnect itselfThe product alone might be okay, but the firmware was made by a cat on crack.I reported it to B&O which offered to provide useless support.Buy Sonos, Kplisch, anything but this joke.

Iâve owned this speaker 8 months now. Iâm a huge B&O fan. I also own a B&O A5 and B&O Level. The sound quality of the Emerge is amazing. I love it so much I just got another one to do a stereo pair. I could listen to this setup all day!!My review is based on using it over WiFi. I wonât buy a speaker at this cost just to use Bluetooth. I got it for the WiFi connection for HiFi music streaming.No regrests! â¥ï¸ð¶ð¶ð¶

Versatile product. Definitely one of the better options despite reviews. Guess I am fortunate as I had only positive experience. The price is not overboard. Remember B&G has consistently been considered a mid range price entry level option.

Unable to set up via WiFi. Technical support takes ages to reply. They have a 24 hr helpline that puts you through email technical support where they make you repeat steps, and you have to wait days to get a potential next step. Searching on reddit it seems this is a common occurrence.The last reply came more than a week ago and still no solution in sight.Speaker looks well made but unable to test it as unable to connect to WiFi setup.Very expensive for this kind of service. Have returned and will look at other companies. This was the first bang and olufsen device and have been highly unimpressed. Best staying away and going down other brands.

Pros : Build Quality of B&O products including this one is excellent. Sound is clear and loud enough to fill up a big living room/ bedroom/ study. Bass is punchy and it’s difficult to imagine that it’s coming from such a small form factor. Good snob value.Cons : It’s very expensive… should have ideally been in the range of 50-60k. However as B&O is a luxury audio brand, one can’t be realistic about pricing. You are actually paying for the snob value. Also, I have been facing problems in connecting it to my TP Link Deco Mesh WiFi 6E routers. If I connect it using another standalone Wifi network then there is no problem. I have raised this issue with B&O Support about a week back but still awaiting a workable solution from their Tech team. Bluetooth connection is flawless though. The B&O app is also well made and intuitive. Overall a great sound speaker for its size and unique form factor.Update – The connectivity issue has been resolved through a minor setting change in my TP Link Deco Mesh Router App. Uncheck “Ignore Ping from WAN” in Internet Settings under IP4 Tab. The product now works flawlessly on my Mesh Wifi. Thanks to B&O technical support.
