When you don’t want to just WATCH the movie, you want to EXPERIENCE it.
I bought the BenQ TH671ST in the 2020, in the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was my attempt at restoring some sense of control and normality to my family. It was, and remains the best purchase I made during that time period. This projector is a workhorse and continues to provide a great entertainment experience for me and my family.Video: Video is amazing. Movies, Series, and Games all look great on it. I’m very happy with the quality of the image and it’s brightness. Menu has variety of options for color, brightness, and positioning that should help you get the perfect image you want for your setup.Audio: The onboard audio is impressive, I have a smaller living room so it fills it up nicety. I have opted to stick with the onboard audio as I never have to push it beyond 40-60% max volume.Durability: I’ve had this projector since 2020, about 4 years now and nothing has had to be replaced or fixed. I do occasional cleaning/dusting, but that’s it. The lamp has stayed strong and bright. I’m able to watch movies during the day, with lights on, or at night. It always looks great, regardless.Overall: This is an amazing projector to upgrade your movie/gaming experience. I highly recommend it. I have a lot of faith in BenQ after this projector. In the future, I’ll be looking at this brand when I eventually upgrade to 4K projection.

It’s been a couple years and still impressive
Attached is pictures, with lights on and then in the dark. Even with the lights on it’s a strong picture. In person it looks better than the picture shows.Movies/TV, depends on your source. The better the source the better the image. But overall an awesome picture.Short throw, I have mine 5ft full zoom = 100″ screen. I have my couch 9.5ft from the screen. Anything bigger I catch the rainbow effect. The awesome thing is, kids and most adults can be in front of the project about 3ft from the screen standing up and it does effect the screen with the person shadow. Which is always my thing I show off when I demonstrate this projector to my friends.Games, I don’t notice lag, and it’s super fun to play games on such a huge screen.Noise, barely notice especially when a movie or game is on.I have this projecting on the wall with no screen. Everyone thinks I have a screen until I point it out. Edges are sharp enough to fool people to think I have a screen.Would I buy again, absolutely.. I think this was the best bang for the buck, and watching the new and better versions coming out… I still think this competes well! This projector has created a lot of memories and I can’t wait to create so many more!

Wow! Donât settle, this is better
Ordered 2 Vankyo units before ordering this BENQ short throw high brightness model. The first Vankyo was a dud and the 2nd was ok but lagged on Mario Kart. So we upgraded to this short throw legend. Man oh man is the picture on this great. The brightness is incredible (especially compared to the $2-300 Vankyos) and the color really pops. Sound is more than adequate for a normal sized room. Projector is bright enough to be used with pretty high amounts of ambient light. The brightness is enough that it just looks like a 100+ inch backlight screen. Has a handy zoom feature and 2 leveling screws/legs that makes placing the unit a breeze. Gaming was super smooth with no noticeable lag.The budget projectors are ok for the occasional back yard movie but the experience feels like your giving up a lot for the extra screen size. With this model you get the size with no quality loss. Really a game changer couldnât be happier with purchase.

Its definately short throw- Color isnt super rich
I was using a 4k horizon pro. The picture is fantastic but it had to be over 17 feet from my screen to fill it causing a shadow cast on my golf sim.I decided to try this and it fills my 180″ (14×8) Screen at 8 Feet away. Thats less than double the distance of a typical projector. So now its mounted right above my hitting area 8 feet from the screen and working well.It has very limited keystone options so its important you mount it dead center to your screen. The color isnt bad but its not as rich as the horizon pro. Looks like the BenQ TK700 color pallet to me which is like a 7/10.

I am a god of gaming and movie nights
I may be easily impressed because I made a big jump up from a $100 projector to this. That said, the picture quality is fantastic. The keyframe adjustment is digital so itdoes not reduce the quality, which was an issue on my last projector. The brightness auto-adjusts so we turn the light on so the picture is still clear. I repeat, this can be used with the lights on. Audio is great. If you want a full movie quality experience with perfect sound balance, definitely hook it up to some high quality speakers, but the projector speaker alone is good, loud enough to be heard throughout a 1400sqft house with the doors all open (which I don’t need it to do).Very worth it. Had it for only a month so I can’t speak to the lasting power, but the warranty seems good and the fact that replacement bulbs are available is a plus.

I purchased this projector for watching films, blurays for the most part, however even DVDs look okay. Netflix and Prime look terrific. At 100″ the picture is surprisingly bright and sharp. I was hoping I could play games with my xbox series x on it, though it wouldn’t have been a deal breaker for me had the lag been noticeable – I just would not have used it for games. However, it plays games with no discernable lag whatsoever. I like everything from Forza to Dead Souls, and they look beautiful way up on my wall. Third person games like Dead Space and Sniper Elite feel like I am playing a movie. And Microsoft Flight Simulator is stunning!Beautiful projector, I just love it. Easy set up, it’s light and small enough to pop in my backpack to take it to my girlfriend’s house. The bulb cools very quickly, and the fan is very quiet. 100% recommended.

Very good quality of image and easy to setup. The fan is quite silent.
