Great Christmas present!
Got this as a present for my dad’s 2008 Toyota Tacoma with no Bluetooth or (that I could find) 3.5mm jack.This radio works perfectly for what he wanted and allows him to connect his phone to this trucks radio through fm transmission( we scanned local channels until we find a channel that was not in use and had empty channels on both sides to prevent interferenceInstallation was easy, even for the backup camera(we rigged it to always be on and have it attached to his back glass instead of behind the truck)Overall this is a great radio that allows you to upgrade without the headache of replacing a head unit. Decent price too.

Works Great – Installation is somewhat difficult
I recently purchased an old car and wanted to add a backup camera and android auto. I went with this 7” option due to the solid reviews and great price.I am very happy with it. Nice screen, connects to my phone quickly. Backup camera works perfectly. I would definitely recommend this as an affordable option to upgrade an old car.Please note – installation is a bit difficult. It took me about 6 hours to install the backup camera. Had to take apart the back hatch, drill holes, solder to the reverse light, run wire, etc. It’s definitely doable on your own if you know what you’re doing. However, if you’re not mechanically inclined, I’d recommend having it professionally installed to save time and effort.Other than that, it’s a great deal for the price. I’d recommend.

It Works unless itâs cold outside.
Super fast installation the touchscreen works really well until the outside temperature drops down to winter temps (40 degrees) then it lags to the point of being useless. The screen picture is OK itâs super bright at night so when you turn it down then itâs really dark during the day itâs not an HD quality screen but for 50 bucks you canât go wrong. Itâs worth a try if youâve never had CarPlay. The screen size is perfect. It doesnât block looking through the windshield.

Good product just one issue
Great to use car play for music and for the gps. Love that it will read the text messages to you for safe driving as well. The only thing that did not work for us was the screen mirroring that way we could use our driving money apps as well.

Best Upgrade for the Price!
For the price, this is the best upgrade you can make for your vehicle without Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Depending on the set up of your dashboard and mounting options this might hinder your view of the road. I was able to mount it near the gear shift in the center console eliminating that issue. The screen is very responsive and bright. Set up for CarPlay was fast and has really made my car feel updated. I am using the aux input on the device for sound rather than the radio transmitter and it sounds great, especially when I utilize the built in EQ on the device. I would recommend anyone looking to change out the radio in their vehicle to try this first and save a ton of cash.
