Perfect for drying records after washing
Holds seven 12-inch records. The top of the rack contacts only the record label. I added soft clear vinyl tubing to the rack top as bumpers to avoid accidentally scratching the record.

Great little Holder
This is a great little holder and I’ve found it’s usefulness to extend beyond just holding files as I’ve used mine to display vinyl records on my coffee table and it’s honestly a very elegant solution. The attractive metal design is very sturdy holding my records upright and spaced out just enough that people can peek in between them and see what they are. I leave my “show” records out using this and people love to compliment the design of the rack, they’re amazed when I tell them it’s for file folders. The rack is very easy to assemble, it doesn’t even require screws. All in all this is a great rack and I’ll probably get a couple of them for other flat objects I want to display.

Perfect size
This unit came in 2 pieces, the triangle rack and the base. Once I cut off the zip ties compressing the triangle rack, it expanded to the size as mentioned in this post. Then I took one end of the triangle rack and put it on the open end of the base and repeated with the other side, and voila, it was ready to be used. My desk has a tempered glass top so it was sliding around so we had to put this sticky padding on it so it won’t slide around when we add/remove paper from the racks. This was the only reason for 4 stars vs 5 stars. It works well. Holding multiple size of papers and a clipboard, helping me with organizing my desk vs loose papers just laying around.

Sturdy, functional and cleverly designed
If these metal file holders were circles instead of triangles, then it would be clear that what we have here is a segment of a coiled spring, simply pulled apart and held into place by placing either end of the triangular spring into holes in either end of a metal base to hold it. The spring tension then holds it together.Kudos. What a clever and simple design.After signing up for a service that will recycle all of our different types of plastic bags, I needed a place to keep and sort all the plastics that keep invading our house with every trip to the store. I saw this attractive iron-looking rack and thought I’d give it a try. The weight of the thick metal and the stability of the triangle shape keeps it very stable, even when filled to the max with high density, low density and linear low density polyethylene (HDPE -#2, LDPE -#4, and LLDPE), and even polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyester, and the occasional polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic.This file holder works perfectly, and even makes our plastic waste look coordinated and stylish. Wow.
