Easy Install!
I was a big worried because we have an older system being the house we purchased was built in the 60âs but the install literally took 20 mins max and was so easy with the app! The touch screen area is great. I appreciate the little bubble leveler on the base plate to make sure you donât make it crooked but also so you donât need a full on leveler yourself! The functions are heat/ac and auto where it uses both according to desired temp and elements. The fan also is auto or on. We also did not have a C wire and as it said we did not need one! It also doesnât need jump wires! Great price and great functionality. Looks sleek! Seems durable! Highly recommend!

Killer Thermostat â Best Purchase Ever
This thermostat is absolutely amazing! Installation was super easy, and I didnât even need a C-wire. The app works flawlessly, and I can control it from anywhere, even when Iâm not home. Itâs beautiful, functional, and does everything I need at a fraction of the cost of the overpriced competition. You honestly couldnât ask for better. I love this thing and hope it lasts a long time!

Simple but Effective Smart Thermostat
This thermostat is very uncomplicated, but does everything a person should want out of a smart thermostat.You can pay hundreds for other smart thermostats but none will heat/cool you home better than this Sensi Lite.The app interface is clean and easy to understand. You can set multiple heat/cool scenarios and activate whichever one needed at the tiime.One feature that I like in particular is the “Early Start” that will start heat/cool early to achieve your target temperature at the specified time.For many people who do not have the C-Wire, this thermostat will work perfectly without it. No need to worry yourself and suffer sleepless nights over C-Wire. With or WITHOUT C-Wire this thermostat will do the job for you. Enjoy your sleep with no C-wire nightmares.I have owned other smart thermostats and some (more expensive than this) have had unreliable connections to wifi. They would be offline as often as ONLIINE. This is very annoying when you want to check the temperature or wish to change settings when you’re away from home.The Sensi Lite has been ROCK SOLID in its’ online connection. In the months since installation, I have never, even ONCE, observed it being Offline.I have recommended this to other family members.If you want to keep your home heated or cooled to a specific range of temperature and don’t want to worry if you will freeze or boil in your home due to a rogue thermostat, then the Sensi Lite is for you.Check around and you will find almost all other smart thermosts to be MUCH more expensive than the Sensi.This is reasonably priced and will do a great job for you.UPDATE: After 2 months of use, the touch sceen on the thermostat croaked, so I was only able to adjust temperature in the app. I purchased this a “Used: Like New”, but as you may know you’re out of luck after 30 days. Fortunately, Amazon gave me a grace period and agreed to refund. But, don’t count on a refund past 30 days.I repurchased this SAME thermosat, but NEW this time an added a 36 month warrnty, to be safe.I am still sold on this thermosat, but anything can malfunction, so I don’t believe I’d buy this thermostat as refurbished. I would buy this NEW.

Not Good For Me.
The wifi on the Sensi thermostat that was in this house when I bought it stopped working and after 2 hours of trying to get it back, I just decided to get this Sensi Lite to replace it. It was appealing as it was an overnight delivery from Amazon, the brand was the same so wiring would be very simple, and the price was right.Installation was easy indeed and, although it took three attempts, I got it connected to the app. I set up my programs and I had full control of my heat pump. BUT, the screen looked like the attached pic. I tried multiple things to get it straightened out, and finally called Sensi tech support. Over 45 minutes later, I got to speak to someone, I sent her a pic, and she said to press a few buttons on the screen, and then she said the thermostat needed to be returned.So, the return is started and I have another unit scheduled to arrive tomorrow morning. I’ll update this review with the results of unit number 2.Thermostat number two arrived this morning. Exact same problem as the first one. As soon as I put the batteries in, the display just kind of goes wonky. Check out the attached video. Iâll be sending this one back as well, and just going down to the hardware store to get a different kind.

Exactly what I needed
I’ve tried numerous expensive name brands. Could never get them to work right. It was either heater or fan or ac won’t work. And sometimes the programming just won’t work.The set up for this was so easy. Took about 10mins. Been using it with no issues. Connecting away from home is quick and easy. Saving money on energy. Looks great. Not too bulky with unnecessary buttons and display.

I set it up myself. I am female and 68. The instructions were easy to follow. Had it working within 20 minutes. I love it. Just what I wanted. Something I can see at all times and program it to lower temperature while I sleep.

I managed to get this working with my old brivis gas heating unit. This thermostat need C wire for gas heating.Old thermostat had only two wires. But the heater unit had C wire built-in which I rewired to connect to this thermostat to make it work.Setup is very straightforward. It’s being one month since I installed and working perfectly.Happy with thr product so far.Note that this is a US product and it has US units and location/ weather information is only related to US or Canada.But I use Alexa and Google Home to align with my location in AU.

Started install with app. Indicated I have r and w wires only. Told me I need a c wire? I thought it didnât need one!! Ignored and continued because I donât need a c wire. Right?!So I connected it to wifi and it worked. Started and stopped heat no problemâ¦. Then it drops wifi. I have to reconnectâ¦. Then it drops wifi. When it happened a third time I packed it up and sent this thing back. I donât have patience for it.
