Great Keyboard and Great Features!
This keyboard is probably the best one I’ve ever had. It is built so well. It is made mostly of some sort of aluminum. It does not bend at all and it just feels very nice. I have had a keyboard that was so cheap that it bent even when I was typing normally (I don’t type very hard), so this was a nice change. The metal volume dial is very high quality, and yet again, just feels well-built. There is also a little button that controls 4 things. It will pause and play your music, skip to the next song, go to the previous song, and open up menus in the OLED display. The OLED screen is very nice. It could be a little brighter, and the larger pixels make it harder to display certain things. But, what makes up for that is that with the program you can install, you can download apps that will change what the screen says. My 2 favorites are Discord and System Monitor. They RGB lighting is really nice. Each light can be its own color and with the program, you can make your own lighting configurations. The keys sound very nice. They are clicky, but too clicky. They are also easy to press, but not so easy that I could see myself accidentally pressing one. It also comes with a wrist rest. It magnetically attaches and feels very smooth and high quality. Overall this keyboard just feels very premium and super high quality. I would recommend it to someone who wants a good keyboard with some very nice features from a good brand and does not mind spending the premium cost.

Best mid-range keyboard for gaming
The Apex 5 Hybrid keyboard is an amazing choice for those looking to put together a decent gaming setup or a much needed needed upgrade from a cheaper membrane keyboard. While this is NOT a mechanical keyboard, the tactile feel and responsiveness of the keys is incredible and will definitely give you that mechanical feel without shelling out the extra $50-$100 or more to get an actual mechanical keyboard.The Apex 5 also has very nice rgb lighting, with multiple presets and tons of options to make your keyboard glow in any way you please (or not glow at all, if that’s your thing). There’s also a multimedia button, a volume wheel and a tiny LCD display that can display images, gifs and can even be used to monitor the status of your hardware in real time, plus much more.Finally, this keyboard is a dream to type and game with. All of the keys are on an angle, which feels so natural to rests your fingers on. It also comes with a pretty sturdy set of feet to raise the keyboard, and it feels wonderful in combination with the detachable wristbar. Even as someone who is less experienced with pc gaming I have no issue reaching any of the keys without comfort while playing games (That’s a pretty big deal for me, since on most average keyboards the ctrl button is just a bit too far away and is uncomfortable to press, especially in first person games where crouch is assigned to it)Overall, the Apex 5 is a great keyboard and delivers on everything it promises. At it’s current price there really isn’t much other keyboards that can compete with this one. If you’re looking to do some serious gaming and want a good all around keyboard that will be up to the task, the Apex 5 has you covered.

Great Quality Keyboard
This keyboard compared to my last two is better in every way. Software is exactly what I need. The lighting and lighting scheme is excellent. It gives me exactly what I was missing from my last keybds. GREAT responsiveness. Plugs into USB 3.0 port. This is a gaming keyboard. ALUMINUM FTW!I bought 2 IO Gear Kaliber aluminum gaming keyboards in the past. Terrible lighting scheme; lights went out on one and dimmed on the other keybd. Software is TRASH AND NOT WORTH THE HDD SPACE. Mechanics were ok but electronics were POOP! Not buying those again.

Love this keyboard! Quality, colorful, fun!
Been using a cheap Amazon keyboard for awhile. It hurt my wrists, didnât feel great, not exciting, decided it was time for an upgrade.I use this keyboard for work, 10-15hrs per day. The wrist support is fantastic, the shape of this keyboard prevents fatigue and aches.The colors are so vibrant, the multiple custom pattern choices and reactive keys are fantastic. The OLED display is so much fun, make me feel like a kid. The app allows you to customize the entire thing from patterns to reactive keys and OLED etc. the app is very easy to use, customization is endless.The keys feel very quality and smooth, the clicks are satisfying though a bit loud. But overall very quality keyboard thatâs entertaining, comfortable and satisfying, highly recommend.

Very nice keyboard
The Apex 5 with the little screen to show PC stats is a PC nerds friend. I use the screen to display temps and speeds of my PC and GPU while gaming. It lets me know how the PC is performing. I also have several LED configurations for games that help me quickly find the right keys. Really enjoying the keyboard so far, would recommend it if you need a good quality one at an affordable price.

Close to perfect
I am a fan of steel series. I was in love with the merc stealth which I have no idea why they stopped making. Was a great keyboard. Sadly mine finally died. I have tried multiple keyboards since and keep being disappointed. Which this isnât quite up there with the merc, I do like it. The keys are very responsive although I do with they were a touch louder. As someone who is on the phone all day with customers, it helps for them to hear that Iâm typing so they know Iâm still there if I happen to get a bit quiet while assisting them with any order issues. The brightness is wonderful. I love the feel of the aluminum keys. I am a bit of a key basher, I donât feel like these will go flying while Iâm typing as some others have. My only real sort of complaint is I wish there was a way to keep the num lock on all the time. Everytime I turn off my computer, it turns off and I have to set again. Itâs minor but still bugs me. And I wish it was more visible when the num lock or caps lock buttons were on. Not very easy to see as there isnât really a change that is quickly noticed. Overall, so far Iâm loving the keyboard.

The keyboard is amazing. It has per key illumination which the software is very cool with.It gets recognised by signal rgb software so it syncs everything together.The feel is good it has mechanical clicks with membrane so doesn’t feel like your bottoming out the keys.

Excelentes materiales de construcción, amplias opciones para configurar prácticamente cualquier cosa del teclado y gran comodidad.Pasé de un teclado de membrana “gamer” Logitech G213 a este SteelSeries Apex 5 y la diferencia puede notarse. Desde los efectos RGB ampliamente configurables a través del software SteelSeries GG hasta el tacto en las teclas y el reposamuñecas (que está hecho de un material de plástico suave al tacto), todo es súper cómodo y de gran calidad.Algo que me gusta bastante de este teclado es su pequeña pantalla OLED en la esquina superior derecha, que puede configurarse con algún dibujo, algún GIF o con alguna de las integraciones que tiene con algunos juegos o programas. Yo particularmente la uso para monitorear mi sistema y ver la temperatura a la que se encuentra mi CPU y GPU de manera rápida y sencilla sin tener que ejecutar MSI Afterburner o RivaTuner SS. Sin embargo, tal y como vi en la propia página del producto y en algunas reseñas en YouTube, se podÃa visualizar la canción que estuvieras escuchando en el momento, pero por lo que pude investigar esto solo es posible si usas TIDAL y bueno, yo utilizo Spotify, por lo que esto no me agradó tanto.El sonido del teclado es notable y puede llegar a ser molesto si no estás acostumbrado o si vives con alguien más y sueles usarlo en las noches a no mucha distancia del resto de personas. El video que adjunto es muy fiel (considero yo) al sonido que obtienes una vez el teclado está en tus manos.Algo que me gustarÃa mencionar es que, a pesar de que el teclado venÃa bien empaquetado junto con otros productos, la caja del teclado en sà venÃa con algo de cinta extra en varios lados, lo que me hizo dudar un poco en si el producto era nuevo o usado, pero al abrirlo me di cuenta de que era nuevo o estaba en condiciones prácticamente perfectas, por lo que me quedé más tranquilo, pero ese detalle de cinta extra en la caja no me agradó demasiado.
