Solid
The Beats Pill delivers impressive sound quality for its size. The bass is rich and punchy, providing a depth of sound that you wouldnât expect from a portable speaker this small. The mids and highs are clear and crisp, making it great for a variety of music genres, from hip-hop to rock to podcasts. While it doesnât deliver the deep rumbling bass of larger speakers, it still offers a well-balanced sound profile thatâs perfect for personal use or small gatherings.
It works great on a bike too because its so small and lightweight. Its easy to carry around, whether youâre tossing it in your bag or using the included strap to hang it from your backpack. Despite its small size, it packs a punch when it comes to sound, making it perfect for on-the-go listening.

Great Sound
I expected great sound from a Beats product and that is what I got. I bought it specifically to connect through bluetooth to a bluetooth CD player. That connection has not worked yet, but i believe it is due to the horrible process that the CD played needs. I’m still working on that. However, it connected easily to my phone and really rocks the music that I have on it. Good Buy. Lots of quality and nice design.

Fantastic Sound and portability and connectivity
Wow! In the realm of pricing/costing and functionality and sound – you cannot beat this product and if you are able to snag it at an incredible price on Amazon at less than $100 – this is a steal – we took it to Mexico and it worked flawlessly, I use it in my backyard as a stereo with two of these and its flawless and the sound is magnificent. Just buy it!

Clear, loud, beautiful
I bought this to bring to work since I’m in the office two days a week and I’m alone one day. That one day alone, it’s too quiet so now I get to jam out to tunes of my choosing without offending anyone. Battery life is fantastic (charge once a week, if that), connects seamlessly to my phone and it is LOUD. Small enough to fit in my gym bag, takes up little space but helps pass the day.

Is it the JBL killer?
I bought this because it was on sale, and I always wanted a beats pill.
I am a JBL user, and firmly stand by their quality and sound.
Does this compete with Flip 6? Absolutely.
Does it compete with Charge 4 or 5? Definitely not.
Heres why
Sound: i purchased the Black Pill, right out of the box it is versatile in the sense it matches anything you have. I couldâve went with Champagne as well and wouldâve also fit. I compared to flip 6 right away, it is Brighter, crisper and deeper bass at 50% volume and lower.
However at above 50% the bass becomes muddy, it has this weird flutter sound to it. The Flip 6 Still Sounds great at 50% and lower just it sounds a little quieter and less vibrant compared to the Pill.
The Charge 4 and 5 are bigger speakers and has bigger woofers.
The pill is definitely very portable, great performance and most definitely great value for the money.
Maybe later down the road i will purchase another for stereo sound bars for our TV.

Much improved from original
When it comes to Bluetooth speakers, Iâm 100% Team Bose. However, when it comes to headphone or ear bud options, Iâm Team Dre Beats all day. I have always liked the sleek look of the Beats Pill but was not so impressed but the lack of clarity and bass in the sound. Price wise, in comparison with the Bose Sound Links, the richer sound dollar for dollar, pound for pound, Bose is the better product. As I was browsing at the new Bose Bluetooth items for Black Friday, the Beats Pill popped up in a majestic gold color. At an incredible $99.99, I thought, eh letâs give it a shot. I love the look and the sound is just like a Bose Sound link! When I discovered that like the Bose products, I can link 2 speakers for a more enhanced sound, I immediately purchased a second one. I also love the fact that it links ip to my iPhone and announces my alerts like an Apple product does. Two thumbs up! Makes for a great Christmas gift!

Outdoor Movie Night is Now Complete
Ordered two Beats Pill speakers to connect to an outdoor projector that doesnât have a powerful built-in speaker. Pairing function for the Beats Pills together to create stereo sound and to the projector was easy. The battery life of the Beats Pills is excellent getting us through a whole evening of outdoor watching. The Beats Pills are easy to carry, take wherever, and place on any surface. Highly recommend as the sound quality is great.

Simple to use, very simple to pair within the Apple ecosystem, supporting iCloud pairing and simple initial pair. Can easily get battery information directly from device. AirPlay integration would have been welcome.
Controls are simple, although take some practice to get used to. Power button controls both power and pairing. I do wish the Pill could be turned on with one touch of power button. I’ve yet to test the microphone/speaker function, but that’s a nice enough addition.
I find the sound great, but I am no audiophile. I intend to use this speaker for what portable speakers are best designed for- travel, beach, patio, etc. It sounds excellent, even at moderate volume. The dual pairing function looks awesome, although not within my use case.
Design is sleek and feels solid- but light enough for great portability. The soft touch silicone feels great, although I can foresee being a bit of a dirt magnet, at least on the champagne gold model. The lanyard is a welcome addition, but I do wish it was adjustable- unsure what the point of adding a lanyard is if it cannot be tightened/loosened. USB-C is a great addition, as is fast fuel.
Battery life is rated at 24H. Based on early usage, I would believe this to be reasonably accurate. Unit drained about 10% listening to podcasts at ~50% volume.
Overall positive first impression. Definitely not a cheap speaker, but you are buying this for the ecosystem integration, good sound, and excellent battery life. Price is pretty on par with similar quality speakers. Beats products are frequently discounted, so maybe wait for a sale.

Good sound quality and the volume is enough for indoors and outdoors. Excellent build quality and elegant design. Easy set up and lots of functions when paired with apple Bluetooth.

Upgraded from an Anker Soundcore 2. Considered JBL and Bose, but went with the new Beats Pill due to battery/quick charge and its integration with iPhone. Also, really like the look of the speaker in the champagne colour.
