Sounds quality is great
Yes this speaker does all of the smart functions as expected but wow the sound is crazy, paring 2 to get stereo and it sounds like instruments are in the room. The bass gets super deep, most subwoofers struggle to reproduce bass like this. It’s sound quality it’s great but with stock equalization, it does sound a tad dark but that’s what the equalizer is for. For 50 bucks this is a 10/10 for both sound and smart functions

I love ð my echo dot Alexa â¦..it works so well and easy to use, she recognizes my voice, sound quality is amazing no frying sounds or ntn well clean I have no issue connecting it to my phone or lab top

This speaker is big and bold. I have the model two generations ago and there is no comparison. The sound is better and louder. I got this device about half off because of black Friday and then almost free because of a trade in. Trust me, just purchase it ðð¥°

Great Product, Saved a Bunch of Money
We’ve been using a first-generation Amazon Echo (the tower type) since it first came out ages ago. Recently, though, it began acting a bit wonky and it was more than a challenge to get it set up again properly, as the software apparently changed a lot across time. Time for a new device.We got the refurbished 4th generation version of the Echo for half of what the new one cost. Like with other Amazon refurbished items, it was indistinguishable from a brand-new version and works just as well. We use it as an alarm, a white noise machine, an answer-machine, and an internet radio (especially for WMVY and WUMB). It works great, much better than the first-gen model ever did. It understands verbal commands much more easily, sounds considerably better, and looks a lot better, too. We like its round form better than the older tower model.Consider this a ringing endorsement of both the current Echo and Amazon’s refurbished products program!

WOW! This is awesome.
The sound quality is tremendous and it was so easy to setup. I bought it refurbished and you can’t tell it was used. Looks and works like new, packaging like new for half the price. I am so happy with the sound quality. I had an Echo Show that this replaced as the sound wasn’t that good. The show can go in another room and this beauty will play the music.
