Good and affordable SD card reader
Very easy to use and works on a variety of devices. Works with regular size SD cards and micro as well which is nice. Really like the different types of ports it has so it’s able to connect to all sorts of different devices like phone or computer. Super lightweight and portable. Would recommend

EDIT: Added a star because the seller reached out to me & sent me a free replacement.I got this because I’m an artist doing digital art on an ipad, and art files can take up a LOT of space, so I wanted to store them on an SD card. I liked it because most lightning to SD card card readers are a cord that in my case, would dangle from the ipad while I’m working, which would damage the cord. I thought getting this would mean I wouldn’t have to worry about that but a couple weeks in I bumped it & now I’m having issues with the SD card not being seen by the ipad. It plugs in just fine but the SD card will just randomly disappear from the file directory while I’m working & I have to unplug & replug a couple times for it to appear again. And weirdly enough, I’ll have the charging cord plugged into this & it won’t stop charging even when the SD card disappears, which would make me think the problem is with the card & not the lightning end, the the SD card works fine in my computer.Also the caps are a little annoying because they look like there’s no “backwards” but if you don’t put it on the right way then the lightning cap will stick out instead of aligning with the adapter & the USB-C cap is very tight when put on the right way but doesn’t fit on at all the right way (again, the caps look like it shouldn’t matter, there’s no indication of a right or wrong way to put it on).So yeah, the thing is cheap. One little bump and now this thing is incredibly unreliable. I’d shell out the money for a better quality/sturdier one if I could find any.

Works GREAT for transferring files to and from an iPhone or iPad device.
For the price, this does its job remarkably well. In the iOS universe, they don’t go out of their way to make anything like this particularly user friendly, but that is no reflection on this device itself.It is actually plug-and-play in all devices. Insert the SD card and then VOILA! you have access to the contents of that card. On newer iOS devices (I believe it is iOS 13 and up, which most phones after 2017 have) it will allow for both the reading and transfer of files.For non-technical jargon, you just need to navigate to your FILES app (search for that on your phone and it’ll be there). Now the tough part is that you’ll need to click the top-left corner and you’ll see spots like My iCloud, iPhone storage, etc. This is usually going to be near the bottom of that list, but just click on that and you’ll see the files that are on the card.If you want to transfer photos from your iPhone to the card, just select them all in the Photos app and click COPY. Then hold down in the FILES app until PASTE appears, and there they go. There are other ways to transfer between those two as well (such as the Send To function).Another bonus is that this device will actually let an additional lightning cable connect to it and charge your device while it is reading/writing from the SD card. That’s not terribly amazing, but it perhaps allows some people to always leave this dongle attached for active video transmission or something of that nature.Basically, this thing does its job and it does it fairly well, without much fuss. I also like this design because its elongated Y shape allows it to connect to a PC, even if the USB ports are vertical (imagine if the different “tongs” went out to the side, it just wouldn’t fit if there is anything else in the surrounding USB spots).Finally, another major reason why I bought this device was the USB C prong. This helps future-proof it and allows the transfer of documents/data from a large assortment of current Apple, Android, and PC devices as well as those that will be made in the future. Starting with the iPhone 15, those will all use USB C. So if you are looking for a transfer device in the year 2023, this will cover whatever phone you have in your hand right now AND presumably any made for the next few years as well.I score this a 9 out of 10, and we’ll round up to 5 stars.

Hit or miss
It works better on our smart TV and laptop than it does in a cellphone. But it is useful to have especially for uploading trail camera pictures

Fast delivery, love it not too big, works very well. Didn’t know it was coming with a 128 memory card so bonus.

Mi sono trovato molto bene per liberare lo spazio del mio telefono (iphone 13) e poter sposare le foto su SD. Funziona veramente bene sia con ios che android.compatto e comodissimo la possibiltà di collegarlo senza dover avere cavi al pc.Molto utile per i viaggi.spedizione velocissima
