Easily Added to HomeSeer Z-Wave Network — Not Ideal for Hot Environments
Z-Wave-controlled plug worked marvelously to control attic fan for 2.5 months, but eventually stopped operating in 100 degree F attic. Note that this is not the first Z-Wave-operated plug to have failed in my attic — so I likely expected too much of this device.Eva’s Light worked with me to resolve. I would buy from Eva’s Light, again.

    Better than expected
Its very small and works well. The setup was very easy and worked on the first try. While it doesn’t have an auxiliary outlet or passthrough outlet, it’s still very good because of its size.

    Rare Wink Hub 2 Compatible
After trying multiple versions of Z-Wave and Zigbee Hub smart plugs I finally found this brand and model that connected successfully.

Works great as both a switch and repeater
I’m using this with Home Assistant and a Sigma/Zensys QuckStick Combo hub. Setting it up was dirt simple, just put it in pairing mode and my Home Assistant z-wave integration found it; typed in the 5 digit code, and it just worked. I have numerous zigbee, z-wave, and wifi based outlets so I have a lot of basis for comparison, and this device is as good as any of the others, though like other z-wave devices this one costs a little more than a zigbee equivalent. It lacks power consumption tracking, which I’d expect in a device at this price point, but I’m not dinging it as that feature is really more a novelty than useful feature for most people. The response time from a toggle command is quite quick, and signal strength is good enough that it is skipping my other repeaters and connecting directly to the hub from across the house. It also makes a good repeater itself; my outside z-wave motion sensors all switched to it from my dedicated repeaters. I wish I could give numbers to back that, but the zwave js intregration for Home Assistant still lacks decent diagnostic tools. Besides that it works well with Home Assistant; I had no problem setting up automations for the grow lights I have plugged into it, and the switch has been working well with no dropouts or issues for a week now. It has none of the other issues I’ve seen with smart outlets—it fits with other plugs on the same outlet fine, the indicator light isn’t too bright, it remembers state after power failures, and it hasn’t done anything unexpected at all. Overall, for z-wave it is probably my new go-to smart outlet, but due to the price I’d still generally buy zigbee since I have both networks.

    Repeater range is limited
Setup was easy even when placed a fair distance from router, but extended range is very limited. A device just 6 feet asway constantly goes offline.
