I bought this controller specifically for use with emulators on my Samsung A13, and it worked perfectly with all of them (My OldBoy!, Dolphin, M64Plus, etc). I then found that it worked with emulators on my M3 MacBook Air. The only thing I don’t like is that in low light conditions, the backlighting on the controller makes it hard for me to see the TV screen, but that’s when I’m using my MacBook, and my eyes aren’t too good anyways. Aside from that, this controller was 100% worth it and I’ll be buying another one soon.

Comfortable bluetooth controller with cool lights and zero lag.
I regularly use my phone (S23 Ultra) for both mobile gaming and for accessing my PS5 through the PS anywhere app. I already have one of the leading brand mobile gaming controllers (BB) and though I love it, I find the profile a little small for my bigger hands so it gets uncomfortable to hold after playing for a while. This one looked like the buttons were a bit more spaced out so I thought I’d give it a shot and I was pleasantly surprised. I’ll admit I wasn’t expecting much but in my opinion it’s every bit as good as the more expensive leading brand controller. It connected with my phone easily over Bluetooth and it holds my S23 securely, even with a thicker case on it. The buttons are indeed a little more spaced out so it’s very comfortable and I find my hands don’t get quite so cramped up after long sessions. The joysticks and button clicks are nice and responsive and aren’t very noisy at all so I can play in bed without disturbing my wife. The colored lights are really cool looking and you can cycle through different color options, but I find them distracting and they eat up battery so I end up turning them off every time.That’s my only very minor complaint about this controller is I wish it remembered the settings from the last time you used it. Every time I turn it on and connect it I have to cycle through the button presses to turn off the lights, but because it’s connected to my phone as a controller, those button presses on the controller translate to inputs on the phone, so it always ends up opening an app or trying to click on something. It’s a minor inconvenience but worth mentioning.Overall I’m very happy with this controller. I was worried I would notice some lag with my games since it’s Bluetooth but if there is any, I certainly don’t notice. It’s responsive, comfortable, and has great battery life. At $54.99 (at the time of this review) I think it’s a great value and would definitely recommend it.

Shanwan app required unless I’m doing it wrong
For me to be able to use this gamepad I had to download an app called shanwan which basically tells the the phones how to use the gamepad and organize your games all in a convenient launcher. If games do not show up you can add it. This is a beautiful gamepad that works well with every game I threw at it. From the Goat Simulator to COD it worked great. The Analog stick has beautiful RGB and I he button ABXY all light up beautifully. It really is a good looking gamepad that functions well. My only dislike about the game is that unlike other gamespads of its style, the game pad simply extends and closes on to your phone with rubber grips. If you’re paranoid someone can just walk up to you and rip your phone out and the game would be left in your hands. There is no lip to lock your phone in place just the pressure of the spring that closes the gamepad onto the phone. Other than that it’s a great gamepad.
