Easy to install, perfect angle
our doorbell wall is perpendicular to the door so we needed to angle the Ring out to the world. this worked perfectly.

Works with TP Link Video dorbell if you drill your own holes
I knew when ordering this that it did not say that it worked out of the box with the TP Link doorbell, but this was the cheapest mount that had the greatest angle. So I drilled three small holes and used the mounting screws to attach the TP Link base to it and it works perfectly after that. There is some black tape that insulates around the hole for the wires in the back and it matches the doorbell pretty nicely.

Silver looks best, most finished
I just got a Ring and with the placement of the doorbell on the side of a window frame I’d see nothing without this mount. Super solid construction. I got silver b/c it blends in the best. Diagrams were confusing with all the Ring options. I had the newest 2024 Ring and I just used the default mount w/o foam padding. Easy to mount. Was worried that the expansion wouldn’t be solid and the constant pressing would cause it to compress but it doesn’t seem like that would happen. Looks great.
