always wanted one
I’ve wanted/needed a label maker for as long as I can remember – but, somehow, never took the time to research them. I recently moved and decided it was time to get organized in my new house – plus, I found I seem to forget where I put things; if the tote is labeled at least I won’t have to open each one to look at its contents. Plus, should I change the items in the tote, I just have to peal the label off, without having to scratch the previous writing. This little gadget has been a game changer! I’m glad I bought this brand – it’s the brand I’ve heard about for as long as I can remember, so I figured they know what they are doing! I admit, the instructions are daunting – so I bought a case for this unit so I could keep the instructions with it at all times. Some of the instructions for the more advanced tools are a bit difficult to follow – but the basics are simple and everything works great. I like the little device that helps split the backing from the label. It’s not perfect, but it does make it a bit easier. The quality of the text is great and so far, the label seems to affix to everything I’ve put it on – and, so far, I have been able to remove them without any glue residue left behind.

Seems good for the price
Works good, but the only issue I am having, is that “so far”, it keeps telling me that any batteries I am putting in it need to be replaced. So, hoping that if I get a new set I wont be having the same issues. (the others are all new, but have been sitting for a while) So, we will see.

Surprised by this low-end Brother label printer. Easy setup. Screen display is adequate. Easy to control. Prints well. Has an auto shutoff if you forget to turn it off. Can only use on battery power. The battery life is good. The only negative is that when I pick it up while holding the top and bottom with my hand, the back cover can come off because the top back side of the cover was designed to press inward to remove the cover. That can cause the cover to come off. I have to pick it up from the sides of the label printer.

Very easy to use, the ink does not wear off the labels, the labels easily peels off the backing. I would have like the option to use it with an electrical cord. It really burns through the batteries.

Grandma loves it
I got this for my grandma to label all of her canning jars, stored sauces, frozen breads, etc. Itâs easy for her to use once I showed her how to use it and itâs fairly simple. Great options for text sizes, colors, fonts. Prints at a good speed and the cutter works great.

I bought this to label a bunch of tool-chest drawers and for other misc. use in my workshop. My wife has a similar Brother labeler at home – which has been great – but I was tired of shlepping that one back and forth when needed at work, and the price was right. Hers has been robust and this one works fine. The 4 included tapes will likely last my needs a long time.
Will come back and revise in the future if needed for longevity issues, etc.

Works great, lots of design options, easy to use. I would have been happier if it was rechargeableâ¦not sure how long the 4 AA batteries will last, but itâs not a big deal. I should have paid more attention to the description. Great value, compact.

Love this little label maker!
I love this label maker. It is easy to load with new label cartridges and the label seems sturdy and reasonably easy to wipe off (water repellant). The machine is easy to use in that it is intuitive and has multiple options for larger or small print which comes in handy when you want to label different sorts of items. I am a nurse and am often losing items like bandage scissors, flashlights, pen lights etc. Now I can label them and may have them returned to me! This is also a sturdy little item. Hope this helps!

this product is AMAZING it works perfectly it comes with some tape to use but I would recommend buying extra but overall amazing.
