This just misses a 5. The blades are not well described as to what each is and does. The exit chute is a bit too short. Other than that, it is a great tool. Easy to use and to clean. I like it.

I bought this to replace an electric grater that was almost 30 years old and the motor finally went out. Boy they do not make them like they used to! This thing gums up, has way too many pieces to clean. It’s easier with a dishwasher, but if handwashing it’s a nightmare. The motor sounds like its struggling when used (with both hard a soft cheese), I wouldn’t expect it to last more than a year. I gave it away and have been using my food processor instead since I can’t find a grater like my 30 year old one.

Not good for shredding cheese
I bought this for shredding cheese. The only way I can get it to shred without gumming up is on frozen cheese. Not good. Life happened and I didn’t get to open and use this until a few days after I could no longer return it, so now I’m stuck with something that won’t work for what I bought it for. It might be great for other things, but not for cheese. Don’t waste your money if your needing it for this.
