Much better than an LG!
After our previous sound bar with a separate subwoofer malfunctioned, we were in the market for a replacement that offered similar features at a comparable price point. Excellent Value Sound Bar for Small or Medium Rooms
We are a household of people obsessed with sound. Well, ok. Maybe it’s just me, but we have a full Dolby Atmos system in the living room, an Echo Studio in the dining room, a patio and pool area surrounded by speakers, and so on. We bought this particular sound bar to improve upon the absolutely horrible audio produced by the smart TV in our master bedroom. The room is on the larger size for a bedroom at about 23 by 17 feet. This little bar does a pretty good job of reproducing trebble, midrange, and bass audio. The trebble can be turned up so high as to be harsh, but EQ adjustments allow you to tone that effect down. Mids are clear, and dialog doesn’t get swallowed up by everything around it. The bass won’t shake the room the way a system with a dedicated sub will, but that’s not really what I want it to do in my bedroom. Overall sound quality is great for the price and considering my initial hopes and expectations.The sound bar includes HDMI, 3.5 Mm, and bluetooth connectivity, and switching between inputs is easy. Switching between pre-configured audio modes is also simple, and there’s even voice feedback as you switch from one to another.The reason I am writing this review is that I just recommended this sound bar to my sister for her living room, and I realized that I hadn’t previously written a review, even though I bought the device more than a year and a half ago. I’d definitely like all of you and my sister to know that, in my opinion, you probably can’t buy a much better sound bar at this price point. If you’re looking to improve the sound coming from your TV in a small to medium room without breaking the bank, and you don’t really need or want true surround sound, don’t hesitate to pick one of these up.

Great for what it is
I ordered this soundbar as an alternative to the crappy tv speakers, and the fact that I simply do not have the means of wiring a full surround sound unit.First, keep in mind that is not a 5.1 unit. It is a 2.1 with six speakers, including built in subwoofers. The equipped EQ settings are good at simulating a surround sound experience, but you have to play around with it to see which is best for you. It will vary with each user.The sound is excellent, especially considering this is a unit that is below $200. The bass is good, but not overwhelming, which is understandable in that there is no large subwoofer with it. You can tweak the bass volumes, because it can distort a little if turned up too much.The hook up is a synch, and if your TV is equipped with e Arc, I would fully suggest routing it from the arc setting on the soundbar to the arc input on the tv. While the unit has a second HDMI input, it really is best to route any additional HDMI devices to the tv rather than the soundbar as it can create a handshake issue. I have an Nvidia Shield, and a cable box that I route to the HDMI inputs on the tv, and run the single HDMI arc from the soundbar to the tv arc input. Works fine.The remote is good and pretty easy to use. Bottom line, this is an excellent unit for the price. The sound is impressive and it’s really easy to operate. If you are looking for a good sounding soundbar that will not break the bank, this is the one for you.

Sound quality is very good with very punch bass. However, I find the dynamic range is lacking and the virtual Atmos effect is hardly noticeable. I am also not a big fan for the design. Much prefer all metal than the cloth mesh exterior.

Does not work with LG TV’s and support organisation is awful / non-existant. Don’t do it – save the hassle.

If you live outside the US, make sure you buy a compatible power supply/adapter separately because regardless of where you order from you’ll be sent a US power cable. Shame they don’t just send the correct power supply cable for your country. I’ve also spoken to their customer service and they said they can’t solve this issue because they’re a US based company
