What’s the difference from VR?

DroneMask uses the full screen for a 2D cinematic experience. Unlike VR goggles that split the screen and need special apps, lowering resolution, DroneMask’s unibody optical solution provides 4x better resolution and works with all mobile apps.

Which drones and controllers does the DroneMask fit with?

The DroneMask is compatible with all camera drones that use an external screen fitting the DroneMask lid. It suits models from DJI, Autel, Hubsan, Skydio, Xiaomi, Parrot, EXO, Fifish, SwellPro, Ruko, etc. For best use, try controllers like DJI RC-N1.

Which phones are compatible with the DroneMask?

The DroneMask is compatible with most phones or screens that are not wider than 78.1 mm and no longer than 170 mm. This includes, but is not limited to, all models of iPhone, and Samsung S6, S7, S8, and S8 Edge.

Does it fit glasses?

Yes! The DroneMask fits well with glasses if they have single-vision lenses but does not work well with progressives. Progressives offer multiple prescription strengths within one lens, while single-vision lenses have only one prescription strength.

What’s in the box?

We only provide the DroneMask 1 without any additional cables.

    Usable but needs improved
Did not produce a crystal clear image and they were front heavy. Hard to adjust so they would stay in place and be comfortable too. Biggest disappointment was the clarity. 3.0

Seems like a good product, but…
I think these are going to work out nicely but the one thing I just hate is when you receive a product that is obviously a returned/used item. My mask had hair on the padding and the storage bag was dirty. I may send these back but I won’t know until I get a chance to at least test them after the wind around our house dies down. Disappointed so far to say the least.

Genius! Such a simple solution but it works perfectly
I’ve spent years fighting the sun on my display, phone screen. Then I moved to connections with goggles and that proved frustrating with different devices. I finally tried drone mask and love it. The display is beautiful because its your phone. The setting is dark like being in a movie. In fact, you can escape the world and watch your movies with it on your phone. With the flaps on both sides you can reach all of the buttons on your phone although those on the sides are a little tricky to see but accessible. I’ll never have to worry about compatability with any drone and Ive flown quite a few over the past 8 years or so. This is such a simple solution to a nagging problem.

    GO FOR THE DRONEMASK 2
PRO’s & CON’sPRO’s- cuts out glare, allows you to see the screen in full sunlight, fit nicely and are comfortable for the most part…CON’s- cost way too much, even half price would be pushing it, there’s no electrical components to these so, I can not justify the price in any way…very heavy, very hot, no way to access the screen on your phone, I thought they would help me see more of my screen because I’m visually impaired but, that’s not the case. If you’re visually impaired, I would NOT recommend these. I am blind in my right eye and partially in my left and must shift my gaze to see the right side of the screen and it’s really hard with these on. You can leave it unzipped and just lift the flap if you need to change the setting or whatnot but, for $150 I shouldn’t have to, rig it. Do you know what I mean?? I’ve seen the part 2 and I hear they’re even worse with finger holes that allow light to come in, which is why I settled for these… I should have just went to Walmart and got a pair of VR goggles, which I think would’ve done the same job.DRONEMASK IIFirst Impressions**When I first opened the box, the DRONEMASK 2 immediately caught my attention. It has a very nice appearance, featuring a grey color, which is a welcome change from the all-black design of the original DroneMask. Not only does this new color look more appealing, but it also feels less likely to heat up as quickly. I also noticed that the DRONEMASK 2 seemed to have shed a little weight compared to its predecessor—not a huge difference, but certainly noticeable.Another feature that stood out to me were the access holes at the bottom of the mask, designed to allow access to your phone while flying. At first, I was a bit skeptical about how useful they would be, but once I put on the mask with my phone inside, I was completely sold on the idea. This feature is particularly useful because, when using the DroneMask 1, I often found myself unzipping it every 30 seconds to make adjustments to my camera settings. With the DRONEMASK 2, I can make those adjustments without the constant zipping and unzipping, which ultimately allows for more uninterrupted flight time.**Comfort**In terms of comfort, I didn’t notice a significant difference between the DRONEMASK 2 and its predecessor, though the slight reduction in weight was noticeable. This small change allowed me to keep my head held up longer without feeling the strain, as opposed to the tendency to slump down toward the ground after extended use with the original DroneMask. One important tip I’d recommend is letting the mask sit outside for at least half an hour before putting it on. Otherwise, the lens is likely to fog up due to the temperature difference, forcing you to repeatedly remove the mask to wipe the fog away until it acclimates. I experienced this same issue with the DroneMask 1, and it remains a challenge with the DRONEMASK 2. For those in warmer, more humid climates, I’d suggest the manufacturer consider adding a small electric fan inside the mask to help with this issue. It would be a simple addition that could make a big difference in overall comfort and usability.**Performance and Ease of Use**The DRONEMASK 2 excels in ease of use, with clear and concise instructions that make setup a breeze, right out of the box—just like its predecessor, the DroneMask 1. One notable improvement is the inclusion of connection cords, which the original DroneMask did not provide. This addition is quite significant, as it saves users from the hassle of sourcing their own cables or making an extra trip to the store. For the price, having the cords included is a welcome touch. In terms of performance, the DRONEMASK 2 delivers a solid experience. The unibody lens deserves a special mention—it provides a cinematic feel, as if you’re looking at a large screen in a theater. The seamless view without any split between the two sides is quite impressive and adds to the immersive experience. There is a minor concern for users with specific needs. For me, as someone who is blind in my right eye, it’s challenging to see the right side of my phone even when it’s not inside the mask. Extending the mask to its maximum capacity is still about an inch or two short of what I need to view the entire screen comfortably. While I understand that adding more length could potentially increase the weight of the mask, it’s a compromise I’d be willing to make to improve visibility for those with similar impairments. This is something to consider for future designs to better accommodate users with visual limitations.**Durability and Company Dedication**The DRONEMASK 2 is built with quality in mind. The mask features sturdy construction and is equipped with comfortable padding that effectively cushions the face and the bridge of the nose, enhancing overall comfort during use. This attention to build quality ensures that the mask is both durable and user-friendly.Additionally, it’s worth noting the dedication of the CEO and the team at DRONEMASK. They clearly care deeply about their company and are committed to customer satisfaction. It’s evident that they believe in their product and are consistently working to improve it. Their dedication to creating better products and their genuine concern for their customers’ needs is a testament to their commitment to excellence.**Overall Experience and Final Thoughts**Overall, the DRONEMASK 2 has proven to be a notable improvement over its predecessor, offering enhanced features and thoughtful design. I want to extend my sincere thanks to Mr. Nikolai Vinders, CEO of DRONEMASK, for personally addressing my concerns and significantly improving my experience with their product. His dedication and responsiveness have truly made a difference, showcasing the company’s commitment to exceptional customer service and continuous improvement.

Cons 1. So expensive for a plastic box.2.Iseless without lo g cables.3. Claims to be compatible with older mavics and minis, but it doesn’t have an a ility to xdispy picture on a single screen with those 2 lenses, your head just go mad, when each of your eyes is looking on two sides of the single picture. Not worth it.
