Using with Roland Td-17
I have had this for a few weeks and added it on to my TD-17. Works seamlessly. Both zones are responsive and no issues. Its nice to have the bar and attachments included as well!

The quality of this cymbal overall is very good. I did run into a snag with the mounting options, had to rig up something to make it work. The biggest issue for me is the overall sounds; there are more ârideâ type sounds than âcrashâ sounds. My main purpose in buying this extra cymbal was so I could have another crash cymbal, since my kit came with a ride cymbal already. Other than that, I think Iâll be fine with the use it will get.

Dual Zone feature not compatible with my Alesis Surge kit.
I bought the “HXW 10′ Dual Zone Cymbal” to add to my Alesis Surge kit and there was no dual zones when plugged into the tom 4 input which supports dual zones. So I returned and replaced it and the replacement was the same. Very frustrating. However the product works fine as a single zone.Update: As it was explained to Me. It turns out the module on my Alesis Surge kit doesn’t support any dual zone cymbals. This cymbal works as good as the surge add on for about $20 less

Cymbal has low output
Output is very low. Never achieves 127 velocity. I’ll keep the metal arm and clamp. I’ll not re-balance my module for this cymbal.

Funciona bien con la kit Nitro de Alesis, pero si lo conectas al ride sólo funciona una zona. Hay que conectarlo en otro puerto y configurar si lo quieres usar como doble zona. El opresor es muy grande para montarlo en el tubo, por lo que costó trabajo ponerlo. De ahà en más, funciona perfecto.
