Perfect!
This light is so perfect for overhead craft vids. I had purchased another boom arm with ring light that I really love, but the ring light was way to small and useless so this light attached perfectly and worked with the phone holder I already had. It lights up bright and seems to be well made. I haven’t recorded yet to be honest but I tested it and I am happy so far. Fast shipping…no directions in box but easy to figure out.

As a photographer and videographer, you learn quickly to ALWAYS have backup equipment when on the job, insuring that said job always gets done! This LUOLED Replacement 10″ Ring Light really does fit the bill! This ring light is always at the ready to replace your main light should it fail, even more so if your original is a 10″ ring light.I’ve gave this replacement light a dry run, and found it to be a close twin of my very much used 10″ ring light, right down to the number of LEDs used– well, within 8 LED light beads. The color temperatures are almost the same with 3 levels offered. Ditto for the 10 brightness levels– so much that I can move easily from my original should it go on the fritz, and use this light as a backup unit. In a pinch, I can use this replacement model on a tripod and use it as a fill light, or use this replacement light as one of the two main lights, the other being your ‘old’ one– and stay productive without a hitch. What more can you ask for? ;o)It goes without saying, that this light is reliable as heck. The control module is easy to use, and it actually is identical to my original 10″ ring light as well. You’ll find the bottom ball head adapter can be rotated or tilted for the angle you want, with a screw fitting a tripod or stand of your choice. The upper adapter can hold a cell phone with you providing the proper clamp. Dead in 6 months — What a waste of money!
My last ring light lasted 3 years. This one burned out in 6 months! Not worth the money.

Nice light, Tripod not included
This is one of my favorites. This is a ringlight with a lower ball mount, and an upper ball mount for your camera/phone.It’s a 10 inch ringlight, and the my favorite thing about it, besides the fact that it is a nice, bright light with 3 color temperatures, is that it arrives tripod ready. There’s no cheap tripod to deal with on this light. because of this, it lowers the pricepoint. To sum it up, you’re getting what you want, which is a really nice light for shooting with.I’ve used this many times for doing Amazon reviews, and it just works.Definitely a recommended item from me. Bring your own tripod.

Replacement ring light is not the same as original
My ring light broke about a year after purchasing and I ordered the replacement light without stand. I really wish I had just ordered a whole new one. The replacement is much narrower and has less lights, so it’s so much dimmer than the original. I use mine to record online art lessons so will definitely need another light as this one just isn’t bright enough. The replacement also doesn’t come with phone holder, so make sure you take that part off before tossing your old light assembly.

love this light
This thing is great! Just realize this is a large ring light. If you have a selfie stick with tripod then it will most likely topple over. You’ll need a tripod with larger base if this is how you want to set up (my set up). I like the various brightness levels and 3 color temperatures. I did notice something weird. On certain battery packs on max brightness it will flicker. Not sure what is up with that. On my cheap battery pack it works fine. If I get the flicker then I reduce the brightness and all is good. The cable coming out of the light housing is a weak point. It has come loose and exposed a bit of the sheathed wiring. I will be careful mounting it and if it breaks I will update. For now I love this light.

Awesome…but
I love everything about this light except one small thing that I will have to find a way to overcome. The winged screw that tightens the base so it doesn’t move hits the base plate of my tripod. I either have to have the plate a little tilted or I have to have the light base a little loose. A little loose isn’t a big deal if you are shooting straight on, but it is a problem if it is angled as if falls. So I have to look for a new winged screw that isn’t so intrusive.
