Intuitive toy for my 8 yr old
My 8 year old was gifted this for his bday. He struggles with getting the battery out himself but heâs learning the routine to get it off the ground well. The app is intermediate to learn for an 8 year old, but generally intuitive. Sleek and clean video! Battery life feels longer than it is.

I love this drone. It is easy to setup. The phone app worked perfectly, and had a delightful video game aesthetic to it. The drone itself feels sturdy for the weight.Youâll need to read the manual for how to initially pair the controller and kick it into flight mode, but the rest of the controls are very intuitive if youâve ever played a video game. It even has some preprogrammed tricks like flips.It took me a few minutes to figure out how to charge the battery. There is a charging port next to the contacts on the battery, it looks like a screw hole. The charging port is shown in the battery diagram in the manual, but it was very small. The unit comes with a spare battery so you can get right back to flying.I was pleased by the quality of the video from the drone and how easy it was to access since it saves it directly to my phone. The frame rate on the video is good enough that you can easily fly it from the video feed.
