How to use the 3-camera system?
When zooming with the 3-camera system on the iPhone, aim the macro lens at the working camera to avoid a black screen.
There are some third-party camera apps you can download from the app store which allow you to manually select which of the iPhone’s cameras is being used. You can then digitally zoom without fear of the camera switching when you don’t want it to.

Not working with my iPhone
Simply saying ânot working with my phoneâ. I do ná»t see any different in the pictures. It does not fits well mounting on my phone. It looks nice, maybe will actually work with other phones.

Not so easy to use, but does the job and has some nice features
I have a few complaints: the on/off button is on the light ring right in front of the clip, so as you’re clipping the unit on your phone or moving it around, your fingers are inadvertently changing the type and brightness of the light ring; the directions (as seems to be the new normal) is excruciatingly small and not as helpful as it could be; you definitely should use a tripod with your phone — the off-balance weight of the light added to the weight of the phone makes it hard to hold the phone as still as you need to when taking macro shots. With all that said, though, the macro lens and light do work together very well, and you can even use the zoom function of the camera app on your phone with the macro lens (although not recommended) to get really sharp close ups. Using the light function of the unit to take selfies also works very well, and the ability to change the brightness and the color of the light is something I would have expected only on a much pricier device. I can’t wait to use this in the spring to take closeups of flowers.

Doesnât fit iPhone 15
I can only share with my iPhone 15 pro. The lens is larger than the lens attachment so you cannot take pictures with this on. It sometimes works for 5-6 sec where you can actually see better but the iPhone keeps switching lenses when using macro mode so it ultimately cannot be used. Probably works better for single lens phones

Bonus Selfie Ring Light? Didnât Fit My iPhone 14 Max Pro
To be fair, the fact that I canât get this to work with my phone may be down to me not understanding the instructions or how this is meant to be used. I ordered this because I wanted a macro lens attachment for my iPhone, so I could zoom in and get even more detailed close-up photos than the phone can do on its own. For me, thereâs no way to attach the lens in such a way that it fits flush to the phone. It stays off center for some reason.I like how fast the light could be charged up by USB. The multiple lens covers and cleaning cloth seem like a good idea.The ring light has me super confused. Itâs for selfies, when youâre using the rear-facing camera, if I understand the directions correctly, not for illuminating whatever it is youâre wanting to take macro photos with, with the front-facing camera. So that would mean you got a bonus accessory for using with your phone camera, but not for using when youâre trying to do macro photography with the macro lens. The confusion may be because Iâm not familiar enough with tick-tocks or whatever else it is the kids are doing these days with their phones. All I know is that for my purposes, macro photography with an iPhone 14 Max Pro, this product doesnât work.

Didnât Know Just How Much Iâd Love This!
I LOVE this mini ring light with macro lens. I love super duper closeups of things. Insects, âwhat is that!?ââs, plants, myself, and anything else I want to peek at close up. . Before this product, super closeups were commonly a fail because most phones just arenât designed for that.This fairly simple to figure out. The first thing I did was turned on my camera and adjusted the macro lens until I could see. The hardest part, and itâs not difficult at all, was remembering the duration that I needed to hold the power button for each function.Even when I donât need the micro lens, the cute ring light does great at adding light for selfies. This is such a handy device. I definitely recommend!

Disclaimer: I received the product from Amazon’s Vine Voices program in exchange for an honest review.Summary: I like it! All the parts work! I think it should sell for no more than 23 USD, but it presently sells for ~28 USD! That’s not a huge disparity, though.Pro:+It comes with the charging cord though no plug (no need for most users, USB A plugs abound)+The protective caps are clever+I don’t know if I’m beautified by this light, but I have to say I appreciate that it doesn’t leave that telltale circle light reflection on my eyes.+The macro is good on a Samsung S23 even with my giant case on! See pictured 1cm at max zoom+The carry pouch that fits all the pieces is excellent!Con:-It’s too bad you have to take off the internal cap to attach the clip (which in turn attaches the device to the phone)-The brand mark is weird and incoherent but can be covered with a sticker or ignored-Charging cord is micro-usb which by 2023 is pretty out of date and promises some irritation within a few years.Neutral:~The operation is not perfectly intuitive but the instructions are clear

Lo compré para tomar fotos para promocionar servicio de extensión de pestañas, pero como toma tan bien las fotos se ven todos los detalles y errores de tu trabajo ð asà que ahora la uso para mejorar mi técnica. Lo único que no me gusto es que tiende a desenfocar lo que está alrededor. Y tienes que acercarla a lo que deseas tomar, por tanto no esperes una captura muy amplia.
