Seems to work fine without power loss even at 50feet
I didn’t expect this would work since Wyze cams are very fussy regarding input power, signal strength and distance, WIFI type, software updates etc. but this extension worked and didn’t mess it up.That’s all. just an extension.

Does not fit
Conceptually itâs a great idea. But It failed the very first test – it does not fit properly in the slot for WYZE pan Cam 3. It does not go flush – it protrudes out slightly and hindering motion. Also when it does not fit properly, I get nervous about improper connecting and hearing up and/or catching fire. Unwilling to take that chance. I will get 50â power extension cord and connect Wyze supplied adapter in a weather proof box.

Love these.
Purchased to use with some inexpensive security camera’s and they work great. Cord long enough that we can run them into the house without drilling holes in the wall. Would purchase them again if ever needed.

Great for outdoor cameras that are far from an outlet
Got this so that I wouldn’t have to run electrical outlets further along in my attic. with these, I am able to run from the center of my attic out to any corner.

Great length for store security placement
Already use Wyze at home so using it in the shop just made sense. 50ft meant i could easily run it behind and along edges to keep it hidden and out of tripping hazard lanes. No problem with connectivity, which I didn’t really expect since all it really has to do is supply power, the camera otherwise uses wifi signal.
