Better than the big names
These adhesive backed gel pads are way better than the name brand gel pads and are priced appropriately. They are a denser silicone material with a much stronger adhesive backing so they don’t fling off while your playing. I use them on drum heads and cymbals and they work great!

Overall Pretty Good
I did find these particular dampers to be much stiffer than some other brands so as it turned out they really didn’t work out for me on my regular trap kit. However, I am able to use them on a couple of my hand percussion drums. Particularly my bongos with fiberskin heads. They worked fine there.

Does the same job as Moongel, but doesn’t seem to gum up like MG does. Plus, these are clear and aren’t as noticeable as a that blue piece of sticky rubber on your drum heads (also won’t stain your coated heads).

They are a bit heavy but they do work great . You can slice them and use very little of it and it will not choke the drum

Adhesive on one side only, however they do not stick well…… Used on coated Emperors for backline show with Quiet Riot, and all three were on the riser floor by the 2nd tune.

I’ve tried moon gels and I’ve tried these now, and actually I prefer these. These are stickier and stay put even after prolonged drumming and time. They do and great job damping sound and can be moved around on the drum heads without losing their stick so you can find just the right spot. I’d definitely recommend these.
