Pretty fun, mock GameBoy.
This is such a neat toy for those game-loving kiddos that want to join in on the gaming fun. I love that there are many games to choose from and that the volume is easy to adjust. My only real complaint is that there isn’t a battery meter anywhere, so you don’t know if the game system needs to be charged soon or not. You are able to play it while charging however, and the battery does seem to last for a good amount of time.While there are quite a lot of games on the system, my husband pointed out that most of the games are exactly the same, just with different graphics. I did also notice that quite a lot of them are surprisingly hard, even for an adult gamer to play. Fun little handheld game!
I got this as a present for my partner and I for Xmas. We’re both Xennials, and grew up with NES, SNES, Gameboy, Genesis, etc, so the throwback design really appeals to us. There’s a large variety of games on the system, which mostly appear to be things you could get for free on your phone, with a few familiar sites as well. It’s a bit small for my big hands, especially with its slick plastic casing. I’ll probably try to figure out a homemade handhold for it though. It works well, and is easy to understand and use. It’s small enough to fit into your bag or purse, or even a pocket. Overall, I think it’s a pretty good value for the money. I’m not sure how long the battery lasts yet, as we haven’t played it for extended periods, but it seems to be good so far.
