Day 3. I still like it.
I wanted a a cheap interface to record on my laptop. This offered everything I needed. Some of the “bad reviews” scared me. So far for me, it is perfect. I have to figure out if there is a dolby noise reduction setting… the hiss is definately there. XLR/quart inch inputs are great. I like the pots and knobs…unlike other reviews I read. So far, great for me.

Don’t waste your money
This mixer promised lots of options but the most important one failed. When plugging into the computer to record vocal tracks it creates a static buzz in the background of recordings. This is unacceptable and unusable. We tried different microphones including the best Shure mics available and the results were the same. Unfortunately it was too late to return. You should save money and look somewhere else for a mixer.

This mixer works as advertised. Very easy to use.
I use this mixer to connect my computer and Guitar and listen through headphones as I play along with music.

Nice for beginners. Was not suitable for my application.
A little too noisy for me, and the pots were pretty cheap feeling. I did return this for a Mackie that was slightly better. (Then, if you’re interested in the continuing saga of my mixer journey, I “graduated” to a PylePro PMXU46BT, which is actually pretty terrific. Someday I’ll get a real mixing desk, though, you just wait!)

At first glance this unit looks like a standard, small mid-range mixer but after playing around with it for a couple of hours, it is very much a versatile and professional addition to my equipment.I particularly enjoyed the effects section of this unit. So many variations and mixes of sounds. Havenât quite worked out yet, how to set different effects on different channels (not sure you can). As you can imagine, with over 250 pre-sets, when you turn the knob, the modes whizz by, so that takes a little getting used to, quite fiddly.I powered up using the USB connection, which, surprisingly produced no buzz/noise.The model is a 6 channel mixer, 4+2 – 4 Mic/Line + 2 Audio inputs. The tone controls are receptive and true, enabling you to get the exact sound you want. It has a Bluetooth enabled connection that I didnât see the point of but itâs there if needed. Can be connected to a laptop for recording etc.Overall, once youâve worked out the preset modes you like – it is a very simple, funcional mixer.Great value for money!

There are no instructions. Anywhere. Not in the box, and not online. There is a single A5 sheet that gives an indication of what the buttons do, but the English is poor and a lot of deduction is required. After an awful lot of research and playing around, I did not achieve terribly much, not least because I could not get any microphones to work with the sockets. It is also worth noting that the mode button is a bit temperamental, and is supposed to be able to record, but it never actually flips to âRECâ when pressed, either long or short. Quite possibly me, but a basic set of instructions would have been a godsend!
