wont stay on the drum head, poor stickiness
first application…wont stay on the drum head, poor stickiness. they bounce off after 10 minutes. not worth the $

These work well and are simple to apply.
I got a new set of Tamas and got these gel dampeners on a whim. Very inexpensive and easy to use. I tuned my toms in major thirds, then I placed one on my 10″ tom and 2 on each of the other 3 toms. They dampen the overtones nicely, while allowing the tuning to remain effective.

Thinner than some others, but decent for the price
If you watch my video, youâll see the difference in thickness between these and the SlapKlatz. Also, these only have one sticky side if that matters to you. I was getting them more for isolation and Iâm not sure theyâre going to work for that but for drumhead muting, they should be fine. They seem pretty sticky so should stay on bottom heads as well.

Works well.
Use this on my toms for my drums and helps with sound quality!

Toms, snare, and ride sound AMAZING!
Oh yeah. They dampen it wonderfully. They don’t stick amazingly, though, make sure you push ’em on real hard. I added a couple to my ride so it doesn’t ring out quite as long. What I do is 2, 3, or 4 on each tom head and 1 or 2 on the bottom (they act just like tape, but better), 4 on the snare plus a drum clip, and 2 on the ride. They sound amazing. Buy them.

Mehâ¦. Dollar store clings are better
The Proâs – You get quite a few for not much cash. They are only sticky on one side so they stay clean. They actually work pretty well on a cheap ride making it almost tolerable. The conâs – For me this is the biggest issue. They donât stick well and make a buzzing, sort of vibration noise. I live in Hawaii, so maybe itâs the humidity, but they are just unusable on my drums. They are all the same size. The ad implies different sizes. They are all exactly the same. After you stick it, but decide to move it, itâs way less sticky. Supposedly you can wash it and deactivate it, but thatâs a pain.In summation, you get what you pay for. I willKeep them in my bag for emergencies, but I wouldnât buy them again.

I prefer these to gels.
While they might occasionally fall off a downward facing resonant head, these generally stick well. They are only sticky on one side and can be renewed with a quick rinse in clean water. Much cleaner than traditional gels, and no smell at all. Take all that laundry out of your bass drum, put a few of these on each side, tune it well, and enjoy the musical instrument it was meant to be.

There is a reason why you get so many for so cheap
They worked great the first time you can wash em but the adhesive isnât the same maybe demote it to the edge of a Tom or floor Tom but slap a used one on a snare and itâs gonna go bye-bye on the first hit lolâ¦you will go through these quick if you do a lot of playing and change your heads or just the placement for a different toneâ¦.they work great just leave them. as muffleng though they are a little slimmer (I prefer that) but youâre only getting a one good one time use out of them
