worked great then….total garbage
the device was easy setup and worked great…no setup required just plugged in and went to smart view on samsung phone and it worked….for like 3 months…then now after starting a casting session it drops just after a few seconds, only way to reconnect it is holding down power button to default setting which i never change anyways but it works to show up in phone cast option again but it immediately drops again…doesn’t stay connected for more than 30 secs…garbage what a waste of money

4K Wireless adapter 1080P with easy connectivity and seamless streaming
The 4K Dongle adapter is a simple to use product that makes screen mirroring my Apple MAC and IPhone 14 smooth and seamless. This product is compact with only two connections (HDMI & USB) that plug into the back of my TV allowing me to share my photos/videos with friends and family on the big screen. This is great for parties/family get togethers where all share with just a few clicks on there individual devices. One important note is to make sure the antenna attached to the device isn’t blocked/hidden for seamless streaming.

Garbage laced with advertising
The device is easy enough to set up, once you decipher the directions which are written in font size 2 using very poor language. The issue is with the app, which is not at all intuitive, and worse is wrought with pop up ads that obscure your ability to even begin to figure out how to use it. Once you get through that it still doesn’t connect, instead just circling back to the previous screen or not responding at all. Contacting customer service is worthless, as all they do is point you to videos which I had already watched. Bottom line, this product is trash and a waste of time.

Netflix?
Works fine but I mainly bought this for Netflix casting. No such luck but I realize for ad supported Netflix Chromecast will not work! Why? Until it does I will leave at 3 stars

The dongle adapter works great. Easy to set up on our older smart TV. It’s in the garage so I can use WiFi on my cellphone to cast any program or movies that I choose.

I purchased this to bypass the block when streaming my Netflix, Amazon Prime, and purchased content from YouTube onto my projector. It was cumbersome to set up and once that was situated, it still didnât work. Please do not waste your time.
