If you want to rock the block
Oh boy! This is the second set of speakers I buy. My backyard now boasts 8 pairs of these and needless to say, our pool parties really rock the block. Sound is not distorted at higher volume and the bass is incredible for a speaker this size. I definitely recommend them, but get the 6.5 inches, I also have those and they are pretty darn good.

UPDATE: I know will rate it at 1 star since these speakers gave out on me. Yesterday 17 Sept 2023 I attempted to play some music and the speakers now crackle. I ran new speaker cables and no change in sound. These speaker didn’t last a summer.I received them today and I immediately hooked them up since my outdoor cheap speakers completely gave out.Pro’sBoxed very wellLook to be of average build qualityExtremely easy to mountI did not want to spend a lot of money on speakers with the fear of someone entering my yard and stealing them.Total installation time took under 5 min.ConsTerminals for wire connection are a banana plug form so use outdoor speaker wireSound quality is ok at best. These replaced a very very cheap set of Dual speakers that out perform these.There is no depth to the sound and sound is very flat.I am powering these with a Onkyo 150w ampIf you are just looking for outdoor speakers to be background noise then these will do just fine. If you are looking for a decent sound quality do not purchase these.

Decent for outdoors
These speakers are nice looking and installed very easily. The swivel brackets are a nice addition and are pretty solid. They are a 2 channel speaker so you get highs and mids. You won’t be getting and bass from them but they sound good. I tied 2 speakers together for one speaker output because my high watt receiver would’ve busted them at high volume. These are rated for 37 watts so becareful if you have a powerful receiver. The sound is good for the price. Yes, there is better sound out there for a much higher price but these perform well enough. The weather proof is the key feature here and they do work in the rain. They have survived getting wet over 10 times now and still work.

The sound was good for the size of speakers. Not played to best as it was late when set up. Speakers were dented when arrived was going to send back, but for outside & wanted them for the weekend.
