Updated review – got a replacement, the wires connected quickly, the speaker pair connected to phone in a snap (adjusted Apple Music setting to âincrease bassâ) and wow these speakers came to life! For the price , there are rock solid and seem to be made to last a while. Great set to have around the patio or yard without breaking the bank!The wires connecting the speakers is faulty as some other review also mentioned. I couldn’t plug the two speakers in a pair, struggled with the wire. Sound is quality is not impressive. Bass is non-existent.

Don’t care for the color, but the sound it since (so far)
Fairly impressed – which is rare for an audiophile. I was not expecting much, but they play nicely and clearly. I got the 8″ version, which are probably an overkill, but works for my Christmas cheer purpose, and will be great in the summer for the pool area – so multi season use.

Great Sound for a reasonable price!
These speakers sound great. They project even in the outdoors and they don’t draw attention to themselves. We put them out for Halloween with creepy sounds playing and everyone was impressed. I recommend them for entertaining in the outdoors or for parties where you don’t want a set of unsightly towers in the room.

Broken
Bought one set of speakers, Bluetooth would connect but would go out within 5-10 mins and wouldnât connect again. Returned those and got another set. Worked great until the day of the wedding. Played music for about 2 hours and then they just stopped. Wouldnât turn back on, wouldnât connect, didnât make a sound, nothing. Waited a few hours, still nothing. Waited a few days, still nothing. Tried to turn them on for the hell of it a few weeks later (today) and it played great for all of 2 mins and then the sound was very butchered. $170 down the drain. Do not recommend!!

Einerseits die einzigen Outdoorlautsprecher bei amazon, denen man eine Allwettertauglichkit zusprechen kann, weil Netzteil, Verstärker und Lautsprecher alle im Inneren des “Felsens” untergebracht sind. Also einfach Lautsprecher verbinden, ans Netz anschlieÃen, schon schaltet sich Bluetooth ein, verbinden und die Musik spielt. Andererseits war beim Passiv-Lautsprecher ein groÃer Spannungsriss im Boden, offen für Nässe und Ameisen. Geht also zurück.. Der Klang war ziemlich dünn, lag aber vielleicht auch mit am Riss oder sonstigen Beschädigungen durch die (vermutlichen) vorherigen Käufer.
