I bought this 40 foot active cable to replace a 35 foot passive cable. The passive cable had *sparkles” in the video at 4k 60Hz. (Single bit errors in the digital signal that manifested as sparkly snow in the video.)This active cable works perfectly at 4k 60Hz. No sparkles.

Worked for 5 months then started shorting
My original review for this was great. The cable seemed of great build quality and worked flawlessly out of the box. However for the past week I have been getting weird video stutters and other random problems with both my television and my PC that it was connecting together. Then my PC stopped recognizing the HDR capability, then it would only run if I disabled the enhanced input settings on my TV, then it would only run at 29.95hz no matter what.After much troubleshooting I have discovered that something internally in the cable must have failed. As while I was re-seating either end of the cable I kept feeling what I thought were minor electrical shocks. At first I thought I was crazy but the more I ended up handling either end of the cable while the other end was either connected to my TV or my PC I kept getting rather minor albeit painful electric shocks. Which if they hurt me they definitely could not be good for sensitive electronics.And since it would happen when it was either connected to my PC and not the other end, or to my TV and not the other end it was definitely the cable shorting and not one of my devices.Who knows how long it has been shorting between end of March when I bought this and today (8/31/22)I am way beyond my return window so I’ll just take this as you get what you pay for and try a different brand of cable. But buyer beware.

I tested with 4K UHD 2160p @ 60 Hz through another 15′ passive HDMI and coupler just to add some stress and it worked great. Nice lightweight fiber cable with slim HDMI connectors, should make for a much easier pull through the conduit than the older and fatter HD HDMI it replaces.

Confirm works with RTX 3090
Bought specifically for my EVGA 3090 to hook to my LG tv. 50 foot run from pc to tv. picked up signal instantly. TV is only 4k 60hz and cable seems to handle that perfectly have not had any issues. Cannot confirm or test 4k 120hz. Cable is flexible enough that i tucked it behind a dresser around the corner of my room and behind a bed with no issues.

Recommend for use with home theater projector.
I upgraded my home theater projector to an EPSON 5050UB and used this product to attach to the Blu-ray/DVD player because the traditional 4K cable was causing the projector to shut down. This HDMI cable solved the problem and provided a bright picture and great detail.

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience. I plugged them into my two TVs and I had no signal at all so unfortunately I do have to send these back. They did not work for me and also for the money the wire itself was kind of thin so I donât really recommend these HDMIâs for anyone that has high-end equipment as I do thank you.
