This replaced an older failing cable for connecting Notebook PC to larger desktop monitor. The older cord was stiff and put strain on the HDMI plug ends due to invariable twisting forces it applied. So when I received this replacement, I was delighted to find it lighter and more flexible.. will not twist and put pressure on the HDMI connections. It has not failed to give crisp, sharp display images to our monitor Although we do not use 4K video files or have super high end display monitors, it has performed perfectly for out purposes. If ever we were to have the need, I am confident that it would have no trouble keeping up with high demand signals like 4K video streaming.

Picked this up to swap in place of an HDMI cable I had to replace. Not using for 8k, but for my needs so far it is serving it’s purpose well. Decent flex. Nice soft touch. Looks nice, and so far seems to perform adequately. Feels a bit better quality than my previous cable which didn’t last, so hoping this one survives better than the other did. Given the ratings I do wonder if it would actually hold up for 8k, but can’t test that functionality myself. Cable is serving my needs though, so no real complaints on my end.Likes:- Braided cable.- Solved my need for a replacement cable in a pinch.- Decent flex.Dislikes:- Wasn’t able to test 8k myself, but given the ratings I am unsure if it would genuinely be adequate for 8k?

This HDMI cable (3 ft variant) does measure in at 36 inches from the very tip of one connector to the other, or 35 inches of cable once the connector is inserted. Its strain relief is sturdy and only slightly flexible, and the cable itself is rather flexible and not super thick. It comes in a resealable bag that, like the cable, is fully unbranded, bearing the word âcbaleâ to describe this product, and has a Velcro closure to keep it together as well as two connector protectors, one on either end.The fabric braiding looks nice for those who like it, but it is very thin and easy to fray. It attracts dust very easily and needs some vigorous cleaning to remove it, which will almost definitely cause fraying.As of this writing, this productâs title claims it is an â8K 10Kâ cable, but does not give frames per second for any 10K resolution. I did try it out on a 2160p (4K) 60 Hz HDR10 display with YUV 4:2:0 content and stereo audio (around 7.5 Gbps) and it worked just fine, however I donât know anything about higher resolutions here.
