It fulfills every promise
The picture quality is exceptional. The setup is easy. The price so low for these two things as to be risible. It’s true that this tv does not have every possible feature currently on the market but if you want a high quality picture with excellent sound primarily for viewing tv shows or movies, it doesn’t get better than this unit.

Eye popping WOW!
This 55 inch Fire Tv is awesome, great streaming capabilities with NO LAG! Had Amazon set it up with my account so setup was a breeze, just plugged in the tv and fire soundbar and off we were in minutes. The picture is amazing. Currently using wifi with absolutely no issues. I’m so glad I waited to get the newer model. Another great FEETure is automaticly linked to Amazon Photos. I enjoy putting my wife on Screensaver, as you can see, the quality is EYEPOPPINGLY BEAUTIFUL! 100 percent satisfied and highly recommend. Maybe yours will have great pics on it too? Let me know….

Easy setup, super simple remote, would buy again
We had a Sony Bravia purchased in 2019 that always had problems â not hardware but software. It was years before it had the Apple TV app, it had to be powered off and back on frequently to fix app hangups, etc. Streaming capability died and required “repair” so we replaced it with this 2024 Amazon Fire TV, which had no reviews when we bought it.Pros: Easy setup. Just needed a screwdriver to attach the legs. Very lightweight. It says you need two people but I did it myself. Integrates easily with all the third-party apps/providers we could want. Picture excellent. Remote is very simple so no hunting in a forest of tiny buttons â and the remote works whether you’re pointing it correctly or backward. X-Ray feature on Prime Video shows is even better â for instance, it connects to IMDB when you look up an actor and allows you to then click a title in their filmography to watch it, if available on Prime; it didn’t work this way on our Sony or our LG.Cons: No real ones, although the instruction guide is very slim and could probably go a bit more in-depth.Uncertain thoughts: The remote is so simple that it wasn’t immediately intuitive for a few things. But after a few days, it’s all become clear. It took a bit to figure out how to get to the subtitles settings but now it’s faster and easier access than with previous TVs. And it took me a bit to figure out the difference between how to set up a channel on Prime and a channel that’s watched through a third-party app, but once it dawned on me, it makes perfect sense so that was probably user error.

Excellent Secondary TV
I bought this as a basement TV for guests to watch, great picture and has all the inputs needed. Having the Fire TV interface built in is a plus, it is easy to use and intuitive.

Excellent quality, terrible setup.
I purchased this 43″ TV to replace a 3yr old TLC which kept having issues. The Amazon Fire TV (Series 4) works very well so far.The good: Excellent 4K picture, 3 HDMI ports, quick response to the remote. The bad: Takes forever to get it setup (you must have an Amazon account), software updates are even slower (I have very high speed internet), and setting up each subscription channel individually is a pain (although this would have to be done no matter what TV you buy). The odd: The mounting holes are 300mm apart. Rather interesting, since most TVs under 50″ use 200mm or 100mm VESA spacing. Worked fine for my wall mount but could be a problem for certain mounts.Overall, its a good product for the price. A sub $300 4K TV that has a decent picture. It won’t ever beat a high tier model costing over 10X as much, but if you just need something to watch while lying in bed, here it is. I deducted one star because of the slow start up and setup, and the fact that if I ever get rid of my Amazon subscription I might not be able to use it.

Cheap/ Defective/Not Easy to Setup
This tv was defective from the moment I plugged it in. Got stuck on pairing remote page and would not pair. I even called tech support and watched YouTube videos still wouldnât work. It could detect the remote because it would let me switch inputs, just never let me past that page so I could use the Home Screen for my apps. Had to use a Roku. The picture quality is just ok. Do yourself a favor and buy an LG. Youâll be happier! Not much more, picture is way better and it took me less than five minutes to set up the LG and log into all my streaming services.
