Not compatible with Android. The charging pad is designed for devices with magnetic wireless charging, available only in iPhone 12 and later models. For optimal Qi2 15W charging, the device must be an iPhone 13 or newer, running on iOS 17.2 or later.

Runs warm, but works great!
As others reviwers have mentioned, this charger feels very warm to the touch when in use, especially if using the phone at the same time. In my opinion, it doesnât feel hot enough to cause an unwanted fire under normal use away from low flash point substances That said, it attaches easily magnetically, stays attached with some bumping, and charges quickly with my wall charge adapter. I like that I can charge the phone face down, and that seems to make it a bit cooler to touch.I like the charcoal grey colour, and it may seem thicker than some other chargers, but that more likely due to the dome shape. I like the dome shape because itâs easier to know which way it goes on the phone when Iâm fumbling in the dark to charge it at my bedside. In the past, I have had great luck with the quality, performance and endurance of Anker products. The quality of this magnetic wireless charger seems no different, so value for money seems fair here. I will continue to use them after this purchase.

A really great charger. Magnets are good and charges quick for a magsafe charger.The only issue is the fact that it gets very hot. If i had to guess its at least 110 degrees. I rarely use it when im holding the phone, but if i do, its very hot and uncomfortable. It also seems to charge slower when it gets hot.

Iâm so impressed and appreciative at how quickly they responded to my review and how quickly they remedied my grievance. I really do appreciate them reaching out. Iâve always chosen the Anker brand for my electronic accessories and will continue to purchase from Anker. Quality is still great and always does its job. Even if it gets a little toasty. ðCharges fine but the charger itself gets really hot. Not sure if itâs supposed to do that.. but I canât buy a new one right now. It works tho.

Charges Fast on the First Two Weeks…
This Anker MagGo Magnetic Wireless Charger delivers what it promises, that is, charges my iPhone 15 Pro wirelessly and fast, but only on the first two weeks of use upon unboxing. I bought it without the plug because I already have an Anker 20W charger. However, it heats up quickly and the charging slows down drastically, from 20% to about 30% phone battery in about an hour of charging. That’s really SLOW compared to plugging my iPhone directly into the USB-C port using the same Anker 20W charger. I suspect it’s the heating issue that’s causing the slow charging. Nevertheless, this is still a bargain compared to the official Apple magnetic wireless charger, although I can’t recommend this product as of writing unless Anker fixes this issue. I wonder if others are experiencing the same issue I’m having, or if it could be just my copy.

A little intro – Switched from Samsung to Apple and decided to buy a new magsafe charger with it. I was going to buy the Apple one, but ended up going with this one since it’s significantly cheaper (after paying a large amount for the phone, I would rather not pay as large of an amount for a charger). Reading some of the reviews made me a bit skeptical though since, as I have noticed in the past, these magnetic wireless chargers can get very hot. As anyone who’s had experience with wireless charging would tell you, higher temperature means slower charging, and I mean SIGNIFICANTLY slower charging.Magnets – So, with that in mind I’m happy to report that this charger is actually really good. For starters, the magnets are very strong as you can see in the picture…well, sorta; the AirPods are not as heavy as the phone, but I think you get the point. Besides, unless you have a habit of swinging your phone around while it’s charging you’ll be completely fine.Charging stats – It charges really fast and after several tests found that it charges the iPhone 15 PM from 0% to 100% in only 2 hours. Keep in mind that I had a case on and was only in a decently ventilated room in the summer heat. Also, the charger was not that warm and the phone even less so compared to experiences I’ve had in the past; one time I swear I actually got burnt, luckily though this charger has not even gotten close to that kind of heat.Disclaimer – I will say though that I was not using the phone at all during my testing. Using the phone lightly (ex: Instagram or TikTok) would have probably taken 3 to 3.5 hours to charge from 0% to 100%.FYI – I might do some more testing later on in various conditions; in better ventilated situations (with a fan right under it) I found that it seems to charge even more efficiently and faster.Closing remarks – I can’t really compare it to the official Apple magsafe charger, but from what I’ve read and seen this performs at almost the exact same rate at a much lower price. I might not be a fan of the majority of Anker products because of how overpriced some of them can be in comparison to equally as good or even better cheaper competitors, but this is a very good product whose performance justifies its cost in this market.
