I initially purchased this dock for my laptop as I needed the extra ports. Anker has been a reliable brand for me and this product lived up to expectations. I have since purchased a second dock since I found out I can use it with my iPad Pro and also with my new iPhone 16 Pro which has a USB-C port. The versatility, small size and weight, and reliability make it easy to carry. I interface two additional monitors from this dock, external drives, and SD cards from my cameras. I also use it to connect my wireless keyboard and mouse on all the devices, which allows me to use my iPad as laptop. I am rough with my stuff and this hub has held up to my abuse. Highly recommended.

A jet makes great products
I had a choice of a cheaper hub but I know from experience that Anker products are excellent. Iâve never had problems with them and this hub confirms this belief. It is not only a great âuse at homeâ hub, but also a great travel hub as well. It gives me back the USB-C port I lose on my MacBook when I plus it in, but it also powers it. The three USB-A ports give me access to my hard drives, my memory sticks, and even my DVD player/burner. I like having the option of the RJ-45 jack (which I occasionally use on travel).Overall this is a very capable and reliable hub that gives me more than I need at a reasonable price

Nice unit but could have been just a bit better
The Apple M2 computer, is a great unit. It does lack some extra ports. Two USB C ports are just a little skimpy. This unit does provide a very nice expansion and allows you to interface, almost every conceiveable device. It works well for Standard USB and members cards, even a port for either net, The only drawback I found was that it does not supple power to the USB-c port. That would have made the unit perfect. It would be nice to have power on that port or one of the USB A ports so that you could plug in an Apple DVD player. That is the only drawback that I could find on this otherwise very full featured, and well made product .

Got a new work laptop, Dell from Lenovo, and the Lenovo dock wasn’t working correctly. I use it with a KVM to switch between work and personal, but it stopped working correctly with the new laptop. I guessed that maybe the Lenovo laptop wasn’t providing enough power to the dock with the new dell laptop. The Lenovo charger is proprietary so I couldn’t just use the Dell USB-C Charger, so this was the solution. It’s not the cheapest, but its actually cheap for an Anker product which is great, as Anker is generally pretty good.

UPDATE:Nope, it’s just the hub. :(It’s either defective or not a good product, which is unfortunate.The stutter issue has been resolved, but I can still not use the dock to push an image to my secondary monitor (1080p).I spent several hours this evening updating drivers for my Lenovo Thinkpad E15 Gen2 (AMD) without success. FYI: This laptop DOES support PD+DP through USB-C, something I confirmed before trying to go down the USB-C route in an attempt to replace my ancient Diamond USB-A dock.An image was never sent to my second monitor, whether connected via HDMI or DP through the hub.In all cases, the monitor IS recognized by Windows, so some information is being communicated, just not an image to the monitor.During every attempt, when the monitor was first plugged in, responsiveness in Windows would stutter, lag, and generally respond slowly to my KB+M inputs until, eventually, the laptop caught up and was OK.I am highly disappointed and am considering returning both products, but the USB-C dock is definitely returning.It would be nice, but I don’t need a 100W charger.My hope of replacing my current USB-A dock is diminishing at the price point I was hoping for, so we shall see if it’s up to the task of the new 2K monitor I have on the way and go from there.Original:Buyer be cautioned:The Anker 565 USB-C also needs power for itself, which is evident if you think about it, but it’s not stated anywhere that I could find, and it may not dawn on you until things aren’t working quite right.Lack of power could cause many issues I’ve read about in reviews.The issue:Mouse movement would stutter every 5-10 seconds.Though Windows recognized my HDMI monitor in Device Manager/Display settings, no image was sent to it through the Anker hub.Current theory:So, the manufacturer’s 65W USB-C charger for my laptop cannot FULLY power the hub with one connected HDMI monitor, two USBs, and Ethernet through the USB-C hub.I did not test the two USB devices (Keyboard and headset) as there was little need once the stuttering began, which was immediate.I have an Anker Nano 100W arriving tomorrow, and I will update the review once I’ve re-tested.Suggestion:My ask to Anker would be to *estimate* the power draw of their dock and list it somewhere with many warnings, etc.If they wanted to go above and beyond and add averages for peripherals and the like, that would be amazing, but if not, I would understand, as I’m sure that information could become dated fast.A power warning would have prompted me to consider the power charging situation, and I may gone with one of their docks (About a $100 increase) instead. But now that I’m annoyed, I’ll purchase a 100W charger that I can use for my work laptop and elsewhere as needed. :)They are still getting my money, but not as much.They make amazing products, but small details like this matter to me as a consumer.

Great dock/hub, with 1 possible minor caveat.
Get the caveat out of the way: There is a USB-C power port to provide pass-thru power to your laptop. BUT, in order to deliver power, it requires a 100W power adapter. When using my OEM power block, the laptop warns “your PS may be insufficient to charge”.That said, if you’ve got 2 or more USB-C on your laptop, just plug your PS directly in, and use the other port for the hub… or use a 100W PS to the hub. I’ve done both and there is no issue when using the 100W PS (also an Anker).For my personal use, the HDMI *and* DP ports are great for any external monitor. Sufficient USB-A ports for peripherals, and 1ea A and C 10gig ports for performance expansion. Icing on the cake is a standard Ethernet port, which is supremely handy if you’re in an environment where WiFi is unavailable.Solid product from Anker at a reasonable price.
