I used a Beheringer Xenyx 8 channel that I was given second hand (got out of music for about 10 years) and really enjoyed using
I purchased this mixer in Feb 2015 to transition from two mixers for my band to one and to make it easier for me to push more wattage. I used a Beheringer Xenyx 8 channel that I was given second hand (got out of music for about 10 years) and really enjoyed using it so figured why not? This was by far a good idea for my part, I plugged in my new mixer and played around with it during a KJ gig I played before our next band practice and I was by far impressed. Integrates very well and fits everything I can use it for. I have used it for 8-10 hours consistently and never had an issue.

Not dispointted
This is the second identical mixer I bought. First one was bought about a year ago and still running in good condition. This mixer can easily handle day-to-day use with no issue. The only feedback I get from users is that they would rather have the connection at the back on the mixer instead on top. However, if you have a tight space, input/output on the top of the mixer is perfect.Update (10/20/2014)Now I ran into issue like some of the reviewers (digital signal processor is overloading) on my newer unit. Old one still works fine and no issue. It seems like the units manufacturing from a certain time has similar issue. if you run into the same issue, contact Behringer customer support for repair. They are very prompt (compared to a lot other non-Amazon services) and took time responding via Email with detailed instruction.Just got my repaired queued in and will update in future if necessary.Update (06/15/2015)Since I made the repair last year, the digital signal processor is overloading issue has been gone. Have to give credit to the customer rep. They are very patient and walk throught the repair process step by step. The only down side is there is no repaire shop close by so I have to make the mixer back to their repair shop and use my old mixer for about a week. However, it worth it. If you ever have the same issue, definitely contact the manufacturing team and get it fixed.

Excellent quality and features
This was purchased for our church. It’s replacing an old 24 channel Eurodesk that’s more than 20 years old. This new unit allows us to get rid of the cable mess with external effects and equalizers and the usual connection problems. The functionality of the I/O scheme fulfills all our needs. The “Talk Back” function is a little more easier to include in our setup so we can talk to the band from the mixer room. This is much smaller than our old mixer and the only problem is too little room to put our labels on the faders and aux outs. Other than that this is a real winner.

Decent Mixer but read on…
Like the title says… I think this is a pretty decent mixer but it developed an issue shortly after.Overall, for the money you get good features – 16 XLR pre amp inputs is what caught my eye. It also has 3 effects processors (we’ll come back to this just now!), 4 sub groups for your drums of vocals etc, 9 band EQ, 2 aux outputs for monitors and 2 effect outputs that can be used for monitors also. It also has a Mon channel that has a low cut filter that can be used with a powered Sub for example. These are just a few of the nice features this mixer offers. Now coming to the reason why I gave this product 4 stars, I was contemplating 3 stars but given that everything else works ok and I’m not particularly interested in having this function I gave it 4 stars instead. So the Effects block is malfunctioning, the two lcd screens for the FX section keeps blinking, when it does this it sends an audible pop over the Aux/FX. I’m not 100% sure but I dont think it registers on the main/FOH.

Exceeds my every expectation!
I bought this as the main mixing console for our church. There are more than enough xlrs and inputs and outputs on this thing. The eqs are just fantastic. It is very light, considering the size of it, and affordable. We have been using for two weeks now and we are still trying to figure out how all the knobs work. But it is such a boost to our audio system.

Failed already
Unboxed it, set it up, tested it – all good. Reboxed it, took it to venue a couple months later, and the FX Section won’t stop blinking, making noise, and otherwise just being a huge PITA. Had to use a powered-mixer just to get through the night – glad we started early enough for me to run home to get it.Need to contact Behringer as the return window is closed. We’ll see….

Does the job and more…..
Bought this mixer to have the whole band on ONE mixer…… This solved the problem with channels to spare and added some beautifull extras. The busses where great for isolating the whole drumset, vocals etc….. And sending dry sounds to the house PA. The fx are great that no extra gear has to be hauled. In live performances we need minimal fx so these are awesome. Still have to try it out in my studio setup to see the performance there but I don’t think I’ll be disappointed. Great product and great handling.
