So this thing is made primarily of a thick plastic that reveals the design of the phone underneath. This is good. It looks very sleek and clean due to the phone also looking so.It also automatically comes with a S pen holster. That’s good as well. If you don’t have an S pen, you can use this part as a grip.Thing is, the coloring that makes the case so stylish is also extremely prone to scratches. From the standard use and abuse (being simply in my pocket with my keys) has led to the color chipping off within the first FOUR DAYS of owning the case.For context, I formerly used UAG cases until I switched to the fold 6. The UAG case, while still being made primarily of plastics, only started to show visible scratches after some months of use under very similar use and abuse. Not days, I mean months.Also, the case is known to slide around in your hand if you sweat or have any kind of remotely greasy hands for any reason.Also, the hinge starts to squeak and creak in moist environments. It gets worse if you try the “blow into the cartridge” method from those old Nintendo games.Trying to dock the S pen in the holster while the case and phone are open is a bit of a crapshoot as well, as you can easily miss the securing brackets and then the hinge won’t close fully.Overall, if you treat your phone like it’s a dainty princess, you can make this case last a while without getting totally scratched.
