Great for AA, but 50/50 on AAA
Product works great for the high turnover of rechargeable batteries in kids toys and battery candles. AA batteries charge like a charm but AAA batteries do not like to charge in all slots.

Game changer!
I have 30 flameless candles in my house, and they all take three AAA Batteries. I always use rechargeable batteries and that means I have 90 batteries to re-charge. Using a 4 holder charger basically meant that I was CONSTANTLY charging batteries. This charger is simply the best. It can charge 16 batteries in one setting. Although one reviewer mentioned this charger would not charge Eneloop batteries, 75% of my batteries are Eneloop (some older and some newer) and they all re-charged perfectly. Another review mentioned that the batteries were difficult to insert in the base. Um… I can’t image how this is difficult. They go in effortlessly. The one thing I did notice is that the bottom of this charger gets quite warm. My solution was to put it on a trivet when in use so it does not heat up my countertop. Even the 4 battery chargers get warm on the bottom so this is to be expected considering it is charging 4 times as many batteries. It’s a great charger and it has been a game changer for me. Oh, nice company, as well. After I received the product, they reached out to make sure I was happy with it. I appreciate things like that.

Works as it should
This is a nice, big charger for your rechargeable batteries. I have only used it with Amazon Basics rechargeable AA and AAA batteries. The bright red/green lights make it easy to tell when your battery is charged, charging, or bad.

UPDATE: Design or performance issue
Seems to work fine – I like that it will do 16 batteries at once, BUT AAA battery will not engage in slot #9. Also batteries seem to get warm in the charger, not sure if that’s normal or not. Will be forced to return it, which is a big inconvenience and reason for low rating. Update: before I had time to do anything, this seller contacted me directly. I was travelling and didn’t respond right away, so they chased me again with another message seeking to resolve the problem. They’ve offered to send a replacement unit to me which is generous and fine with me. I still hold one star back until I see that the replacement works properly, but I have to say that with customer service like that, how can you go wrong. If the replacement does not work correctly, I will edit this review again and drop the stars based on poor quality, but as of now, I expect everything to be perfect.

2 of the slots won’t charge AAA batteries, one won’t even hold the battery in place, but I only needed to use all 16 slots the very first time I got all my new batteries. They charged AA and AAA quickly enough. Faster if you don’t fill all the slots. Since I would mostly be recharging 10 batteries at a time, this should work for me.
