Speakers for my Harley
Love the sound these speakers put out. They also arenât to much on the wattage to have to upgrade your amplifier. Also they do come with a hole diagram so you know how big the hole is going to be for the area you are installing them in.

these speaker did fit nicely into the rear speaker location
For my application, replace front speakers on my Victory Vision motorcycle. They are a bit over sized and would not fit the 5.25″ speaker holes. BUT, these speaker did fit nicely into the rear speaker location. ?? I believe the larger basket design of this speaker is the reason it won’t fit in the forward location. That being said, these speakers are a nice upgrade from my factory speakers. They actually sound nice with out being too tinney/bright at high volumes. The poly cone construction and sealed foam surround means no water will damage this speaker. Worth the cash, love same day shipping, and I am overall very pleased with this.

Great for price
3 year old travel trailer. Wanted to replace the tiny speakers on the outside, these fit the bill using the universal surface mounts. The only holes in the trailer side are for the wires. Used clear silicone to seal the speakers to the mounts and the mounts to the wall. Work great and sound really good for the money. Check my other review on the BOSS gauge radio/ speaker package.

Great replacement choice!
Replaced outside speakers on my motorhome. The Boss speakers are better quality and style than the original, the sound is much better too! These speakers have LED lights a nice addition to our outdoor experience!

Great little speaker!
This is a great little, easy on the budget speaker. Sounds better than the factory installed speakers. Wasnât expecting Hi-Def audio but was surprised by the quality at low volume. At higher volume there is some distortion. If your in the market for a budget speaker that plays well you canât go wrong with this set.

I was expecting higher quality sound
I bought this speakers for my motorcycle, made custom wooden box for them. they work, and they are loud as well. but sound is bit distorted, the most sad part is that they do not produce any bass. frequency response for these speakers is 120hz to 18k.I am a musician, and i have nice quality speakers all over my house. you can’t even compare the sound of real brands to this. even my Sony speakers i bought 30 years ago have better sound. So… for a regular person this might be a great choice for the price, but, i would highly recommend you buying more expensive speakers, for better sound and bass.

Is not a direct fit for a 2018 Hartland Mallard M32. The direct speaker size fit is 5in shallow.
That being said my fault for not pulling the old speakers first… took some cutting and modifying for the speakers to fit but they sound amazing, especially for the price. I won’t be putting these inside the camper but for outside they are great. Time will tell how well they hold out.

Our travel trailer had – what the manufacturer advertises as – 5-1/2â outdoor speakers. They are really 5-1/2â housings with a small and very cheap 3â speaker inside them. To get any amount of decent sound, the stereo had to be turned way up and the sound out of the speaker was very âtinnyâ sounding. I decided to upgrade to something a bit larger, and chose these Boss speakers as they were well priced and seemed to have good reviews. I could have chosen a lot more expensive speaker, but I was not looking for top performance for an outdoor speaker on a travel trailer. To mount these, I also purchased a pair of the plastic angled speaker housings available on Amazon. I chose these 5â speakers over the 6-1/2â speakers as the larger ones were slightly larger than the housing, and had to return them for these smaller ones.Installation into the housing was fairly straightforward with a few minor drawbacks. The instructions say the hole for mounting needs to be 4-15/16â. Rightâ¦Iâll just pull that size hole saw out of my infinite size hole saw kit (thick sarcasm intended). I used a 5â hole saw, which was slightly oversized in the end. Not a huge issue other than there is not a lot of space between the speaker mounting hole edge and the holes that need to be drilled for the speaker mounting screws. I just took my time to be careful with marking (use a center punch if you can) and drilling the holes, and was ok in the end, but another 1/8â clearance would have been really nice to have. The speaker comes with a gasket and mounting hardware as well, including metal clips that hold the screws in place. I thought the clips went on the edge of the mounting hole opening, but they donât position to the hole drilled for the screws or provide proper clearance for the speaker and gasket when installed like this. Ended up using them more like a screw nut on the other side of the speaker. Seem to work fine, but this only works if you have access to the other side of the speaker itself. Seems odd to me they would do this, and a better mounting system would be better for sure.Otherwise, no major surprises. Speaker wire connections matched our old speakers, so didnât have to modify anything there. The sound and volume are both much improved over what we had before. Hopefully these hold up over time so we can enjoy them.
