The deepest bass in a portable speaker.
The Brane X is like something from the future. There’s nothing like it out there. The bass goes insanely deep. It happily goes down to and even a bit below 30hz. Comparable extension to a 10 inch subwoofer I have in my car. Hats off to the geniuses who developed this.Beyond the bass, it sounds great. Full, detailed, and wide. Only downside I noticed is the treble seems to roll off gently past 10khz or so. Not necessarily bad, it just means the speaker sounds “warm”. The speaker gets quite loud as well. It’s obviously very well built. It looks and feels premium, and has a decent amount of weight to it.The app is nice. You can adjust EQ, bass level, light brightness, connect it to other Brane speakers, set up Alexa, and a bunch of other things. So the ultimate question: Is it worth the high price? Yes! Brane X is an audio experience, not just a regular speaker. It is leaps and bounds beyond any current competition. Welcome to the future of portable audio.

Amazing. Simply amazing.
I have several Bluetooth speakers, many from companies like B&W, Bose, JBL, Anker and others but none of them compared to the Brane. Iâd read about the Brane and technical trade publications, and while intriguing, I still had my doubts. Well, there is no doubt that this is the best speaker of its type. All the others attempt to use pyscho acoustic techniques to fill in the lowest octave. The Brane speaker actually has real bass response down to 30 Hz and below, particularly with room reinforcement. This is the only speaker Iâve had to recharge multiple times because I listen to it constantly. I found myself playing music that I tend to only listen to on my $85k loudspeakersâand itâs not just the bass, the whole range on up is remarkable. Iâve had friends listen in disbelief that all that sound is coming from such a small speaker. Itâs kind of like when the compact high-pressure subwoofers came out in the late 1990s from Sunfire and Velodyne. People just canât believe that deep bass could come from something that small. To conclude, it may seem expensive until you realize it can do what NO other speaker of this type can. I enjoyed it so much I purchased three more so I can have one in my offices as well as my home gym.

Absolutely the best in class 🙂
I’ve been waiting for months for Brane to ship this speaker internationally. I snagged it the first day it became available on Amazon and I am in awe about the quality of this little gem. I love new technologies and I am an early adopter. I also hope Brane improves with future software updates a couple of things:1. EQ (kind of simplistic interface and very basic settings). Introduction of some presets like your run-of-the-mill amplifier should not be very difficult (rock, concert hall, etc.) just to help users find their sweet listening spot quicker.2. Volume: testing thoroughly at various volumes, I noticed that from approx 75% to 100% the jump is quite sharp, like there’s no middle way. I am sure that more users will be in agreement that sometimes you need to “fine-tune’ in between as well for best listening experience. Ultimately, this is a portable speaker, assumed to work anywhere you carry it!Go Brane! Excellent new born, you set a new, very high standard and just wrote the first chapter in how to build a truly innovative product! My sincere congratulations!

disappointed
does not have a USB charging port uses 120 volts. APP will not work but you can connect to your phone but it is buffering all the time. sound quality is very poor. sub woofer must be sub sonic. I am very disappointed with this product. Sending back and going to keep the Harmon/Kardon speaker that is half the price and have very good bass and sound quality

Most impressive speaker ever
I you care about the sound of your music and that quality of correct sound then you need to listen to these. I just bought my second one. I DJ sometimes and instead hauling large PA system, two of these will do as good or better. People are blown away and the quality of sound and the small size. There is not one small speaker that even comes close.

The speaker so nice I bought it twice
This is the best portable Bluetooth speaker hands down. The bass response in incomparable to their competitors and often has people comparing it to car and home stereo systems. Coming from multiple JBL speakers in the past, it’s so nice to be able to listen to music on the go and have it actually sound the way it supposed to. So nice in fact, that I had to buy a second speaker for my wife. I can not recommend this speaker enough, especially at its new $500 price point
