Seems to work well
I bought this to replace my Lexmark printer which lasted 5 years before the imager unit burned out. I chose Brother because they have great Linux support and drivers, and setting it up was fairly easy, however I have one caviat – if you want to set this up as a network printer, and you run a VPN on your computer, remember to disconnect from the VPN before you attempt to set it up, or your computer will never be able to find it!Otherwise, it’s a very good quality unit, and I like the way it’s designed – simple to replace toner cartridges and opening for paper jams, etc. I anticipate getting many years of use out of this printer!

Good value for a color printer
Bought this as a replacement for an older brother color printer.Functions as promised with good speed and quality. Very easy set up.Unless you happen to get a DOA, Brother printers are rock solid and last longer than others I have had. For the money this is a solid choice.

“Replace Toner” while full of toner. Complete waste of Money and Toner
I’ve never had a printer before where I’m unable to either override the “out of ink” or “out of toner” messages. Unfortunately, the moment I decide to buy a more expensive printer, I get one that doesn’t let me. Literally stopped printing in the middle of an important job, documents I had to bring the following morning. It was clear there was PLENTY of toner left, as the final page printed was perfect and crisp. And yet, there was NO way to override it to print 2 more pages. God knows how much was actually still left in it. For professional use, this is completely unacceptable and dangerous. Quite obvious they want you to hop on a subscription plan, which is ridiculous.Printing quality itself is great, no complains there. Is fast, looks good.But that first issue is a deal breaker. Will be attempting to return this.

works great… but doesn’t always maintain wifi connection which can be frustrating. I’m not the most tech-savvy person in the world so had to go thru a bit of trial/error in setting up. Managed to do so but couldn’t begin to tell you how I did it. Not sure that is a printer issue or user issue, but point is, once it is up and running, it prints nicely.

Love it!!
After many years my previous laser printer took a dive. I replaced it with a inkjet model. It wasnât really bad but only lasted a year +. And of course I had the expense of replacing the inkjet ink more often than I wish that I had to. But with this one I get much better quality and after severalMonths Iâm still using the first set of ink cartridges. This printer was incredibly easy to link to my numerous devices and has never lost connection to any of them. This is a blessing for me because my wife gets easily frustrated when electronics challenge her. It my opinion that the extra cost of laser bs inker is easily offset by the ease and confidence of performing when I need it. And although print speed isnât important to me because I use it in my home, it prints quickly and is, of course, much quieter than any inkjet can possibly be.

Easy set up.
I bought this printer to replace a brother monochrome printer. I primarily use it to print product labels and on my older printer, I would feed the paper through the front and it would come out the back . Most of the time I would have to help pull the paper through or it would jam. On this new one, I’m able to feed the label paper through and it shoots back out towards the front with no issue. My biggest concern is the price of the replacement ink.

This is our third Brother laser printer in the last 20 years. Very nice color printer that’s easy to use.We needed one that could accommodate medium weight card stock – handled it well from the front feeder.

Easy to install and connect
Love the ease of connectivity. My last printer was discontinued and in a recent relocation, the setup disk was misplaced. I could not connect my printer Wi-Fi. So broke down and got the updated version. So glad I did. Gave the old one to my son in college. Got tired of having the only functional printer in a house of 5.Does require a decent amount of real estate but was the same size as the previous one. So that wasn’t as issue. LOVE IT! Plus, it has a double-sided print option, save on paper.

Me decepcionó la calidad de impresión. Sobre todo en colores lisos. Como pueden ver salen rayas. En el gris sale una raya rosa y en la segunda se perciben otras de color gris más fuerte. Es nueva, no se supone que debe hacer eso.
