It does the job.
Snug fit for the 11th gen 6.8″ Paperwhite Kindle. The TPU cup wraps around all four edges of the Kindle, with a gap to access the power port. The power button is covered but the coverage is thinner and molded to resemble a power button. It isn’t perfectly aligned and isn’t as responsive as an uncovered button. I’ve had a few times where I had to press it several times to get the real button depressed. The TPU backing is more flexy than other covers I’ve used. I’m not sure if that’s good or bad, but it is a thing of note. I suspect it might be a tradeoff between impact protection and protection from having a heavy item or person sitting on it. But I don’t typically drop my kindle and I’m pretty good about not letting things sit on top of it. That’s not my primary concern with these covers. For me, the most important things are visibility and protection of the screen from scratches. I carry my kindly in my pants pockets (yes, I buy for cavernous pockets), and it also spends time on shelves, a coffeetable, and occasional rides loose in a vehicle or tucked in the pocket on the back of a seat. This means lots of opportunities for the display itself to pick up scratches, unless I protect it. While I probably could get away with a screen protector like I do for my phone, I also like the “one page book” aesthetic covers provide. The front flap of this book is fairly rigid and the interior is mostly smooth with a hint in the direction of synthetic suede. Again, typical and expected, and it delivers a non scratching face to protect the display. The graphic is bright and can be seen from across the room, which is a timesaver for the absentminded like myself.Where this cover fails me is mostly on the tactile front. I don’t like the way the surface feels. It feels like what it is: vinyl. But that’s a minor issue as when in use I have it completely open so I’m touching the more appealing hint of suede. The biggest issue is the stiffness of the vinyl fabric hinge. It has a bias to being closed and folding it back feels almost unnatural. Then, the entire time I’m reading, I notice it pushing back against me. It’s possible that with time it would break in and loosen up, but I’ll never know. It’s a small thing, but it was enough of an irritant that I opted to buy a different cover. This is a very serviceable cover whose primary flaw is that the faux leather falls short of being convincing.

Nice Quality and Design
This is a really nice cover with an attractive design for your 2019 10th generation Kindle. Unfortunately, mine is a 2018 10th generation, so this did not fit. I will give this one to a friend to enjoy. This is not the issue of the seller… Kindle should not have produced two different sizes for the 10th generation. If ordering this cover, please ensure that your Kindle is a 2019. It will be great for the correct Kindle.
