These are great pens for people with arthritis
These pens are amazingly great pens. I have arthritis in my hands and these are great larger grips. The fine point is awesome and writing is without skipping or smudging. Dries fast. The color of the pens are pretty and better than I thought.They come with 8 refills and the durability is great. I definitely recommend these. They are even better to me than the Dr. Grip pens.

Size of pen barrel makes writing less painful
I have arthritis in both hands involving the thumb, index finger and joints of hand connecting them. Writing is painful with either hand with narrow or thin barrel pens. The width of the pens helps me use a more loose grip. The gel dries quickly without snearing. The flow of ink while writing is a little rough. The 0.5 fine point contributes to that. My medium point pens write smoother. The fine point is exactly as vendor stated, no decrease in stars for stating the truth. The refills were in a separate box inside the box holding the pens – great way to store. Protective tip easily removed from pen tip. I have used 2 of the 4 pens without skipping or smearing. The colors are pretty and help me locate the pens in desk clutter.

cheerfully colored pens with refills included
These pens come with refills included and that combined with gel ink was my primary draw. I like to journal and a good pen can make that process so much more comfortable. So the pros here are the cute colors of the pens, but they do all write in black. The refills are a big bonus. This should be a standard option in all pens. Maybe it is and I just don’t know how to shop for refills correctly, but refilling pens just makes sense.Cons (and subtly so). The barrel has a silicone grip but I find the diameter to be a bit too large to actually feel comfortable writing. I was hoping the larger grip would be good for my fingers, which are often painful. It doesn’t seem to help. The pens I am most comfortable writing with are just a tiny bit smaller, but not by much. So this may be too subtle to bother you and may be highly personal to my hands. And the ink is capable of smearing for a slightly longer amount of drying time than my other pens. It’s not huge, but if your prone to dragging your hand on the paper as you write, this my prove problematic. Again, this is subtle and probably highly personal. So these probably won’t be my journaling pens, but I’ll leave them at my work desk for shorter tasks, like list making, paying bills etc. They are definitely pretty enough to add some cheerfulness to some of the less fun things I do with pens.
