Stellar SOUND! Elegant Design!
Something different will always attract my attention and this speaker certainly did. I am drawn to items that evoke the past and while no long, low and small speaker made with a wood veneer ever existed in the past, at least that I am aware of, this looks like it could have. After reading the features and positive reviews I had to give this one a try. I wanted a portable speaker that could travel and become the sound component of a small Bluetooth turntable, that did not look like a box, beer can or a bar of soap. This speaker more than exceeded all my expectations! It even arrived well packaged in a fitted OUTER box! It came complete with a USB C charging cord to be used with any 5v phone charger and a 3.5mm AUX cable with a straight and a right angle plug. The product manual, though simple is perfectly legible and complete; I had no problem understanding it.Sound reproduction will always be different to different people and the quality has to be considered for what the product is. Many people seem to reference BOSE quality as if it were some sort of standard. Because of cost and therefore lack of value, I avoid such products, although I have heard many of them, which have sounded quite good. The sound this speaker outputs is VERY IMPRESSIVE! Full, Rich, Deep and Clear. I have been auditioning this for over a month now and it really DELIVERS! And I only charged it once when it arrived. I have not been keeping track, but at least 15 hours (and more!) would be about right. This speaker LOOKS as good as it sounds. VERY understated and elegant. Fits anywhere!Bluetooth works PERFECTLY!And the FM Stereo works great too!

Stylish and Functional Desk Speaker
This wood wireless sound bar is perfect for my desk, combining a vintage aesthetic with excellent performance. The sound quality is impressive, making it ideal for both music and conference calls. It pairs easily via Bluetooth 5.3 and offers a seamless connection for various devices, including laptops, tablets, and phones. The option for a wired USB connection adds versatility. A great addition to any workspace for style and functionality.

Disconnects repeatedly
It matches my desk, and it works alright when it wants to… but it frequently disconnects itself and reconnects itself over and over and over even when sitting right next to the bluetooth transmitter.Update: The repeated disconnect issue is so bad I finally threw it away

Nice subtle design and decent sound for the size
I like the look and sound of this speaker. I am annoyed however by the fact that this speaker will not stop automatically connecting to my iPhone!! Maybe I just don’t understand the Bluetooth settings on my phone, but I use other Bluetooth things that aren’t nearly as pushy. I’m not exaggerating to say I’ll have to disconnect two or three times while watching a quick video on my phone and this speaker stays downstairs in my basement so it’s not even that close.. I HAVE to make sure it’s turned off or I “forget the device” everytime

Looks great, sounds bad
As for the price, I’m not sure I could complain too much. It sounds about like a $30 speaker would, I reckon. But it works as described, and it looks just fine, too, with no fancy lights or anything silly. Just a basic speaker.

Speaker blends into the room and sound quality is on par
I recently purchased this Bluetooth speaker for my home, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! Not only does it deliver exceptional sound quality, but its sleek design fits perfectly with my decor. The finish adds a touch of elegance that you don’t typically find in wireless speakers.Setting it up was a breeze; within minutes, I had it connected to my phone… The Bluetooth connectivity is reliable as well. What truly impressed me, though, is the richness of the sound. Despite its compact size, this speaker delivers deep bass and crisp highs.

Pleasantly Surprised
I was searching for something with a mid century vibe. All of the others expect to pay double or triple the pice of this Smalody. For a speaker around $35 I am happy. It looks great, seems well built, connects easily and sounds decent. For me in headset mode on the computer it sounds fuller. Just don’t expect JBL Flip levels of volume or sound quality. Take the 4 star sound quality rating I gave with a grain of salt. It’s $35!!!!This speaker is worth giving a try.
