    Beast sound quality
They do everything you’d expect. I went with these over the arctis nova pro due to a side by side comparison. The stats overall are better. Don’t pay attention to the complaints people have about these headphones. They are comfortable. I do have to take them off in between games due to them being tight on my head but that is a physical problem of my own and not the fault of the headset. Yes they’re expensive but they work very well. Treat yourself.

    Super high tech
You can tell where every sound comes from. Super fancy, you turn the volume with the whole circles. Only thing I don’t like is they’re heavy on your head

    Corsair still delivers
I had the Virtuoso for 3 years and I decided to try this Virtuoso Max. I can tell the sound and mic quality is much better. Feels premium and you have quick access to volume and track selection directly on the headset

Buggy and uncomfortable, wait until aftermarket ear cups come out
Corsair can’t make comfortable ear pads for their headphones. After about an hour of wearing the headset your ears will hurt. Especially if you have glasses like I do. The mic sidetone is broken. Every time I turn the side tone on all I hear is loud buzzing. After using the headset for more than a few hours the right side starts making clicking noises. Yesterday while in game the right headphone cut out something like 90% of its volume. I had to restart the headset and this issue went away. Seems like a driver fix but good luck updating anything on corsair’s icue software. Every time you try to update the headset it fails. Overall it’s a good headset, but there’s a lot of driver/ software issues with it right now and it’s really buggy. Plus the comfort is a 1/10 with these terrible ear cups. Wait for driver updates and for someone to start selling a better aftermarket set of ear cups. This has the same problems the virtuoso rgb/xt headsets had at launch.

Excellent – once you update firmware etc.
I initially ordered these headphones for my husband. Unfortunately, he’s not one to bother with reading directions when he thinks something should just work when you plug it in or turn it on. So I decided to try them out and use them for work. My first call via Teams and I heard mostly robotic sounds instead of human voices. Pulled out the quick start guide and saw that step 1 is to plug in the USB RF dongle, step 2 is to load the ICUE software, step 3 is to update firmware. That’s the moment I understood why hubby said they didn’t work for calls on his computer. Welp…… 3 steps later, they are working fine.I’m usually an earbud or one ear headphone person. But overear headphones have much better noise cancellation capabilities than earbuds do and these are no exception. The noise cancellation is superb. I work from home and we had the roof replaced. These were excellent at significantly muffling the external noise. Others on the call said that they could not hear the background noise either. My earbuds are high end earbuds. This pair of headphones gives them a run for their money – once they are set up properly. The Dolby Atmos is superb when listening to a device that supports it. The headset also personalizes the headset to your preferences. Going through the SoundID set up results in a much better sound than before doing so.The controls are robust, though the quick start guide is thorough, it’s not organized by button. Instead, it’s organized by function with the button identified in the paragraph explaining the function. Otherwise the instructions are clear.Battery life is quite good. The cons: They are heavy. They are also limited in how small they will close. This makes it impossible to shift one ear up higher as some do to leave one ear at least partially uncovered. If you have a small head, these may not fit.I’m not a gamer, so I can’t comment on performance during games.Overall Impression: An excellent headset if you can afford the price. The sound quality and noise cancellation are certainly comparable to other powerhouse brands in this price range.

El audio de los audífonos está bastante bien, el micrófono se escucha bastante claro. Algo que no me gusta es que cuando lo uso por mucho tiempo me empieza a incomodar en la parte de arriba de la cabeza.

I really cannot find any fault with these wireless overhead headphones perhaps except their initial hefty feel. But even that, once on your head the weight balance along with the quality band and headphone makes them very comfortable and you soon forget they are there short of the great sound coming in your ears. The features set on the PC software, with the iCue which I happen to have installed, give access to a nice set of options, controls and tuning. The overall built and the material quality for the frame, ear pieces, head band, buttons, microphone and connectors can really be resume in one word: excellent.First, they can be used in Bluetooth mode and in that mode, they work in HD quality mode and the microphone is top notch for phone calls. In fact, the call quality is so great you would think your callers voices are awesome. Interestingly you can use the headphone in Bluetooth and still be connected to the dongle mode and thus have full function, on PC for my part, and both audios will mix. If connected to both, then the ring volume on each side control the individual signal, one for Bluetooth and one for native mode. Everything is well though out and with the sound quality it is still easy to distinguish both sources. Then you can make these headphones really shine by using the software and tuning them, called SoundID, to your specific ears. That is done by having you hear different sound frequency and confirming until you now longer hear them. For each ear so that can be tune to your own audible band and then you select your favorite music style loop and do A-B testing, a bit like eye test, telling the software which one you prefer. After a bit of those they are tune to you and you do not need an equalizer to try to adjust manually. For many other I have seen it is gimmicking, but here I immediately heard the difference and felt the music was richer, more balanced and heard subtlety only heard on top wired sets before. With those headphones you also get access to Dolby Atmos headphones, license included, by downloading on PC the corresponding software. In that mode, all movies with 5.1+ and of course Atmos output sound amazing. There are options to adjust for music or gaming, among a few others, and that do elevate (pun intended) the sound position when the source is well done. Truly working fine and comparing to my 7.2 calibrated home theater it is near exact, in fact for most indistinguishable.Final set of features come with the microphone that can easily be installed or remove, the plug is USB-S like but with a key to ensure proper direction. The mute button is right on it. The headphones do have a feature button by default on/off for active noise cancellation, a play/pause button that is also a toggle for forward/back. USB-C port for charging with clear indication with the light. Both ear pieces have a rolling metal rim for the volumes which is amazingly smooth to operate. On/Off/Bluetooth mode toggle. Clear indication of left/right inside each side. Mic with a color light for mute/unmute along with an audible on changes. Then with the software you can set and rotate light effect or sync with some games, if you are into that there is quite a lot of effects or you can make your own. If you do not use SoundID, you can set traditional equalizer, integrate Nvidia Broadcast if you have that brand video card and use the software to reassign the custom key to other functions, keyboard, mouse or whatever actions you like for the headphones, software, or PC.
