READ the assembly instructions & take your time–Easy assembly–a girl can do it herself!
‘SUPER proud of myself for getting this Casio stand to replace the stupid ill-fitting & tippy “X-type” stand the music store sold me! This one is SOLID, easy to put together–AS LONG AS you do read the assembly instructions AND follow them!!! I made two mistakes with the narrow bar that secures the top part of the stand (under the keyboard) and has two rubber “nubs” on it that cleverly fit into nooks on the bottom of the keyboard. Fortunately, my “mistakes” were easy to remedy–just had to remove the screws and reposition that bar. The first time I attached that bar incorrectly, the”nubs: were facing downward–not up; the rubber “nubs” need to be facing “upward” so they can fit into the nooks on the keyboard and make for a very sturdy “lock in” of the keyboard on the stand. The second mistake I made attaching that bar was to put it on the far side–not the nearer side of the keyboard–To discover my error, I sat on my piano stool and rolled the keyboard into my arms so I could look at the bottom of it and compare the position of the “nooks” to the location of the rubber “nubs: on the bar across the keyboard. That’s how I spotted that I had the bar affixed to the wrong place on the top of the stand. Once I had that bar in the right spot, the keyboard fit solidly in place and it was a snap to screw the keyboard to the stand with the screws provided; I only used two–in the front, where it was easy to reach. The entire unboxing & assembly time w/ mistakes included was under an hour & a half–one non-technical, non-mechanical girl working by herself to get it done! I highly recommend this product!!!

Made it fit a cdp-120 with minor modifications
I have a CDP-120 and couldnât find the right stand anywhere, so I rolled the dice on this after reading a review of someone making this work for them. I was able to make this work as well after a quick trip to the hardware store. The stand went together perfectly, but when laying my keyboard over it only two of the six screws holes lined up. The other 4 were very close, but ultimately unusable.Fortunately, only 10 bucks in hardware will do the trick. I couldnât use any of their mounting screws. Two 2.5â screws are enough to keep it firmly together, and gravity and screw on bumpers (1/2â and 1/4â) are holding the weight where the other 4 screws would have been attached. All in all, itâs not a noticeable difference and it feels stable. The stand is more compact than the metal stand I previously had used and it lets my seat nest underneath much better.Overall happy with it.

Great piano stand
Got our new piano stand today. It is very nice, just as I thought it would be. It was confusing at first how to put together, but after finding similar video on YouTube it was very easy. Very beautiful accomplished look of the whole piece! Very nice, glad I chose this one. Some of the hardware is screwed on to the parts already, just unscrew and put together with other pieces.
